Steve Davis was let out of his car, which his wife was driving, on the Hwy 71 near Joplin, NO. His daughter was driving her car behind them, and was supposed to pick him up. Instead of doing so, she whizzed right on by him. The wife got home and realized that Steve was not with them. Steve has not been heard from since being dropped off the Hwy 71 early this morning in the Joplin, Missouri area.

Can any you Joplin, MO freepers help to find him? The Mother is wanting to hear from him!

Footstomper has informed me that Steve Davis has been found as of 3 hours ago!

I do not have all the details but he is OK, that is the main thing!

Footstomper wants to say a BIG THANK YOU for your many prayers, suggestions, and the help. And I thank you as well! All this shows that the FREEPERS are a pretty cohesive bunch!

I remember that guy if I remember a hugh part of the story was left out seems he had a meth/crank addiction.


I asked the Sen. Fog about the chance the guy maybe had a little bit to much holiday spirits perhaps why wifey was driving and he may have p o'ed her off but Sen. says he was a teetotaler.

Hey Dev! How's the holiday going?? Alls quiet here...I miss little man so!
Great news about Steve...now if they could only find Christa and recover Dru....

Well, this one just seems the average argument in which one person gets disgusted and says "let me out of the car" and the other one obliges. No relationship is perfect. Glad it turned out all right.

Now that he's been found safe, I can mention one of those same situations: this would have been 20+ years ago. Father and mother and their (7, I think) young children, traveling along in a large sedan. Kids, who were young, asleep in back seat. Parents have argument. Mother says, "that does it, let me out, I'd rather walk!" After some further arguing, he lets her out rather than argue any more. It was night. She disappeared. A day or so later her body was found in a dumpster near an overpass, not far from where she was let out. Terrible!

Hi Jackie!! Just a few days and your boy will be back! Mine didn't, uh, go anywhere over the holidays! Furthermore, it rained today! They are so rowdy...

We had a friend come up this past Friday. He brought with him his daughter and her husband, and their two children, ages 2 and 1. The 2-yr-old and her grandfather stayed at our house while the rest went to a hotel.

That 2-yr-old stayed up till 1 a.m. both nights. And my kids, much older, used that as an excuse for THEM to stay up, too. I went to bed. That's what happens when men are left in charge of kids! (HUGE apologies to all you men on here... don't take it personally!)

I am Richard Haynes mother.
He came up missing in Sept. of this year. He was found, but only after 14 days, and a car accident and lost much of his memory.
Life is not normal for us even now.

My words to you are...... stay as calm as possible. And trust God!

If you haven't been already...... contact the Police and give them everything you can.
Publish photos as soon as you can. Give them to the police.

Sounds like things were interesting enough tho!
I talked to Bubba an hour ago, he misses Mom, Gina, Stuart, and even asked about Sis! Uncle and Auntie bought him a personal DVD player! Boy is Sister going to be ticked at herself for not getting her grades up to par to make the trip!!

Thank You for Steve's safe return ... thank You for our FReeper family who gathered around the Throne of Grace of his behalf ... and thank You that You took pity on the hearts of his wife and daughter and kept Steve safe. So thankful that this seems to have a positive ending...I saw LadyPilgrim's post, too...I remember HER son's disappearance and am sad to hear that he is still experiencing difficulty.

Prayers for both these moms and their sons and resolution and good news going forward.
