>>>We need some kind of way to report to one another any signs of an impending big coming down. <<<

How do you do that?

On the other hand, if your successful in figuring out how, put me on the ping list. It will be the secret to stock market investing.

You got that right. Twenty years from now, when every last islamist has had his ticket punched, the democrats will say we're "no safer" than we were before 911.

why is ghadafi only a colonel? heck he is the ruler you would think he could be supreme general or something.

if this is true, and is actively and aggressively exploited, this could be bigtime good news for Dubya and the US/UK/white-hat coalition.

I think Kaddafi was frightened by something more than seeing Saddam getting captured. We did something that scared the day lights out of him.

It has to be good. I wonder what it was? I wonder if we will ever know?

"why is ghadafi only a colonel?"

Don't know but good question.

Back in the 60s he overthrew the legitimate monarchy in Libya and took over. For the next 20 years or so, he embarked on an ambitious plan of conquest in the Sahara. He got exactly nowhere. Chad wound up cleaning half his army's clock, seizing or destroying most of his weaponry and ordnance and driving him back into Libya with his tail between his hind legs.

Maybe he knows he doesn't deserve a higher rank.

Very interesting. I would like to know a whole lot more about Mr. Siew.

Well, I'm betting you won't get it from Farah, whose down to WingNut's usual low editorial standards here. He says virtually nothing about where this information comes from. Most of it (but not the bit about Siew or the other bullet points at the end) seems to come from the Press Trust of India article linked up thread, but Farah (typically) doesn't credit it. Frustratingly the PTI piece is competely opaque concerning sourcing as well.

So where did Farah's bullet points come from? God only knows. "Suekdew Siew" turns up nothing at Google except the WND article.

This sloppy journalism really pisses me off.

is this source any good?!

I don't know about "good". WND posts lots of good articles, but they are NOT trustworthy (unfortunately) as a primary source, nor do they follow editorial practices that permit a rational evaluation of this story's credibility. See my comments preceeding. So far there is no independent confirmation of this story that I can find, so, who knows?
