They will be lower income workers getting a tax CREDIT! We will be paying them. Then we can legalize the next 10 million too.

They lack the one thing required to assimilate: A Social Security number, which only legal immigration allows. And in my opinion, the one thing lacking is not a Social Security number, it is the desire to assimilate. Even an illegal alien can adapt to the culture of the country in which he's living.

prejudice comes in all forms. 100 years ago popular opinion was against Italian and Irish immigration. Today it's against Mexicans.Race baiters comes in all forms. 100 years ago the popular opinion was against the Democrats. Today it's RINO republicans.

Again, you're ignoring the facts and the law. The Irish and the Italians were legal; they had a right to be here. The Mexicans are illegals; they have no right to be here. Thus, opposing Mexicans' presence here is not a prejudice, but a rational, morally and legally justified position. why was it OK to take in unlimited quantities of Irish and Italians 100 years ago, but heavily restrict Mexicans today. After all, most Irish immigrants back then were poorer and more illiterate than a lot of the mexicans. what is your rationale and the moral justification? just because it's the law don't make it the right thing to do. remember, slavery was legal once too.

A stupid and transparent attempt at 'labelling' in order to muzzle those opposed to illegal immigration, an issue that has far reaching and disasterous consequences to our country.

Here's a better idea...
Enforce our immigration laws. If someone who is found here illegally, kick them out. If an employer is hiring illegals, throw the book at them. It's really not that complicated.

Personally,I am leaning toward increasing our immigration quotas and stopping the illegal immigration altogether. >>>>>>
Our immigration quotas should be set to what we need & what we can handled. In this 'day & age' all immigrants should have backround checks.
No one should be allowed to just walk in from any country.

California immigrant households received a net subsidy from combined federal, state, and local programs averaging $6,145 in 1996. Big F'ing Deal! The average senior citizen in this country gets a net subsidy a hell of a lot bigger than that each and every year.

here's an idea: legalize them. turn them into enfranchised, tax-paying citizens instead of spreading this scare-mongering that borders on racism. What a perfect fabricated alibi you provide there for the allowing of the destruction of the US.
Note: these people are not interested in paying taxes or in respecting the "American plantation". All their moneys and allegiances go to Mexico.

The average senior citizen paid into our system for many years; not that I think the Feds should do ANY of this stuff. We owe the illegals NOTHING!!!

yep ... it hurts the tax base ... and that pays for everything, from roads, to Social Security (i.e. the contribution, not taxes per se), and on and on ...
go to any Wal-Mart and see their $8.50 fee to wire money to Mexico and you'll understand what it's all about ... it's the only country they list on the sign at the one I was at last night ...
