Kucinich calls terror alert a government scare tactic
Mercury News ^ | Dec. 27, 2003 | AP

CONTOOCOOK, N.H. - The Bush administration is using elevated terror alerts for political gain while confusing Americans and accomplishing little, Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich said.

The Ohio congressman, campaigning at a library services company in central New Hampshire on Friday, said if administration officials have information about terror threats, they should act on it, instead of advertising the threat to scare Americans.

Kucinich is to begin airing TV ads in New Hampshire on Jan. 4.

"My whole campaign is to challenge this fear, this fear about the Patriot Act, the fear about Iraq," he said. "The fear of Iraq was not founded. They didn't attack us. They didn't have weapons of mass destruction."

I guess the Bush haters here on FR would prefer Kucinich to Bush, while having the nerve to call themselves conservatives.

Yawn. Why does this guy get coverage anymore? He has as much chance of winning as the Socialist Workers World candidate.

That's an excellent post! Heretofore, I had wondered where and from whom he received campaign contributions.

In a sense, Dennis is right.

Communist Party Praises Kucinich [by Ohio Communist Party leader Rick Nagin]
Of course Nagin (whose been the head of the OCP since the Brezhnev era, when the Soviets welcomed Gus Hall as a head of state) praises Kucinich....he's been working for him ever since he got to Congress. Which speaks volumes.

I will start emailing the local tv and radio (talking heads and radio mouths) the original article.

When I hear the (LIBERALS) on the radio, sounds like they are praising this demoncRAT as though he hit the winning home run in the world series, just amazing!

they should act on it, instead of advertising the threat to scare Americans.

Not trying to 'scare' Americans, trying to keep us 'observant'.

Kucinich also believes that 9/11 was a conspiracy concocted by the Carlyle Group to take over the middle east oil. First it was a pipeline down through Afghanistan and now we are only in Iraq to seize the 2nd largest oil reserve, despite the fact that Iraq is pumping it's own oil and no construction of any pipeline in Afghanistan is being planned.

Kucinich is a Ramsey Clark Clone who has no more of a chance to win the democrat nomination than Rush Limbaugh does. The guy is a quack... PERIOD

Why is anyone bothering with this nut job? Ok, never mind - I forgot, we are now as taxpayers, paying for his campaign.

That little dweeb has nothing to say that I care to hear. He's a loser deluxe.

Money is better spent thowing it into the street than to donate it to his campaign.
