Those federal supervisors that terminated the jobs of civilians called up for military service in Iraq should themselves have their jobs terminated and be indicted.

What they did was against the law.

During Desert Shield I was a member of the KY ANG. I was asked to volunteer for mobilization by the CoS. When I contacted the Ft Knox Civilian Personnel Office I found that the government would not hold my old job opening for me. They would offer me a job somewhere within the Army system, but not necessarily at Ft Knox.

I thought you couldn't fire an employee that gets called up? Am I wrong, or does that not apply to government jobs?
