Because then trolls would post 25 comments (generally "btt!") really quickly before posting articles. It wouldn't stop them, and would frustrate the well-intentioned newbie poster.

Is there a "search this thread" option. If not could you suggest to Jim or John that the next upgrade include a tool that can do that?

Does anybody use "bump" anymore? Or should we use only "btt" if we don't have a comment, or at least a comment worth posting, but we want to bump the article.

All browsers have a search feature, which I use quite a bit on threads. FR doesn't though. I'm not sure what's in store for us with the next upgrade.

That works if you are set to 250 replies and the thread is shorter than that.

But it takes a long time to search throught the 1000 plus threads like this one.

well....newbies get the magnifying glass treatment rather effectively here...so I would prefer the site stayed FRee...but...it's Jim's call. Does sound reasonable though.

But it's like cats...I noticed they may try to NOT kill the last mouse...for later. Some people like swattimg invaders. Then we all get to see their internal clockwork, during their failed defense...which is interesting.

Now...another thing...have you compiled a list of your precient, scientific queries to our esteemed Admin. Moderators ? Muttly finds them quite useful for spicing up his emails and serious, life or death conversations. Would you post them sometime...or FReepmail to Muttly? Some stuffed-shirts need ventilation, according to me...and your level of mentalation is just the geniosity I could expostulate.

Is there a place in FR that has all the ping lists ... listed? If there is a "ping list" list, could JimRob possibly give it more prominence on the site? Thanks

And why does it seem that about the same time I discover a troll, he gets instantly zotted before I can torment him?

Thank you for this incredible forum!! I am fairly new - this year I was lead to FR - met a few freepers at Troop Rallies here in New York.
FR has been a blessing for sooo many people...and is helping America.
I have learned so much and stay updated on crucial issues..
discovered the joy and friendship of others who care about Freedom, God, America, Our Military, The Power of Prayer.
I have never posted anything yet, do not know how to do graphics or put photos...maybe this will come in 2004 so I may contribute more to the cause of Freedom and information.
