the press is gonna kill him on this one...... In your dreams. The major press will give him a pass on this one like they do all the idiotic statements made by the 9 dwarves.
If people saw 1/10th of the actual statements we assemble here at FR from minor press sources, the 9 dwarves would have about 25 supporters between them all.

Why is Dean getting so much press right now, during Christmas? Way more than the others.

The major press will give him a pass on this one like they do all the idiotic statements made by the 9 dwarves. They won't be able to give him a pass when the other dem candidates start ripping him to shreds over these types of things. Dean is not the one the dems want to win the nomination. The media might like him at the moment but I guarantee you he will be brought low by the others. By November next year, I doubt too many people will even remember the Demonic Democratic Doctor from Vermont.

The press annointed Dean in early June(?), when he appeared on the covers of Time and NW the same week. The following week, he was propped up by most of the liberal media.
I felt the surge that week... definitely the media establishment committing to Dean as a whole.
The media will continue to route for him and against Bush until the polls close in November. This is why the CFR law is bad news. Many swing voters make up their minds in the last 3 months. I can only imagine the propaganda we will see during this time.
