LOL... I like your thinking!
P.S. I was seriously considering putting together an emergency bag of some sort today, especially after the fighter jets I saw last night... is that crazy? Is it crazy not to have one already? Any and all advice considered...)

I would probably consider your proximity to landmarks that would be attacked. If we're talking about an attack by aircraft, I would think we would either see LAX itself or some kind of major landmark attacked. I would also think the rest of the city would be largely unaffected.
Even after the World Trade Center attacks, I remember life continued thereafter - if you weren't killed or injured at Ground Zero, you could still get a mocha latte pretty much anywhere.
It's not like they had to rush uncontaminated water to the site, and in any event there is always Gelson's. I don't see Osama attacking Gelson's any time soon, so we're probably OK :-).
I don't mean to make light of a seriou.... well, actually I do, because humour is how we stay alive. It probably wouldn't hurt to have a few bottles of water lying around, just to make you feel better, but I think putting more than a few minutes' effort into it would be a bit of a waste.

I wish I could get out for a party! Thanks for the invite! We can't afford a babysitter at this current time... Maybe next year.
Lists for all the stuff you are supposed to have are the same as for earthquakes, pretty much. Info can be found at www.ready.gov

Hi Anna, this sounds like a ball.
I hope so, then again, how can it not be. Even if no one got along and the jokes were lame the establishment would still be licensed.
;^)
I've already got plans for that night,
"Mr. Social". (LOL)
but if they change before Monday I'll let you know.
Please do!

I'm going solely by the grace of childcare volunteers. Sniff around your church for some this Sunday, LOL. (A couple of ladies at mine started a free babysitting service as a ministry!)
Either way, God bless you and your family throughout the season and into the New Year... xo!

There we go, problem solved. Now all we need is someone to keep us entertained...
