Prayers need it.

 

Dear freepers,   as I came back from my Christmas holiday from my family, I have received a disturbing phone call from my family in Poland.  My uncle seems to be sick with Alzheimer disease and its progressing.  My aunt is devastating but I am trying to keep her hopes up.  What worries me most is that I haven’t been informed about this before, it was kept secret.  But situation got so bad that they have had decided to let me know.  He lived through WWII and communist occupation; he is one of the gentle people I have ever known.  I know there is no cure for it, but I need your prayers, for he is not close to God.  I pray everyday for his safety, but if more would gather then it would be stronger.  My aunt is saying that is progressing really fast, they don’t know how long he will live.  Prayers are welcome.  Thank you, Matrix2225 Marry Christmas to you all and Happy New Year.  God bless.

A terrible event. May the Holy Angels guard him along that dark path and usher him into the presence of the Living Lord. But it will be worse on his relations. Offer it up for his sake and your own.

I know and hope it is. He hasn't been in church in years, hopefully at end Holy Spirit will give him guidance and love and wisdom and courage to remember and thus he will embrace Our Lord Jesus Christ.

As I type this, in my mind I remember words; "Blessed are you, who gave me drink when I was thirsty, blessed are you who visit me when I was sick” Thank you so much for your prayers. Prayers done

I know how You feel. I lost My Grandmother yesterday and nobody called to tell Me, I had to call them to find out what was going on. The part that really hurt was I called them for Christmas and they were on the phone with somebody else and wanted to call Me 2 hours later and had time to ask several questions but did not say anything about Her dieing till later.

I feel sorry for your lost. Now she is in better place, where there is no pain or sorrow, she is happy being with God. Thank you for your kind response. Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks that You are Creator God, and that in Your hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind. Watch over this dear Uncle, I pray, and even though his mind may not comprehend all things, may his soul be untouched. Speak to him there, O God ... whisper to him of memories past and the glory to come. Let him not leave this world without a commitment to You ... may he go from earthly life to life eternal.

Comfort his dear wife, for great is her burden at this time. Surround her with those who can assist and who can help her through this time of deep sorrow. Bind up the heart of FReeper matrix, for he is grieved over his Uncle. Thank You that his love of family has called us to prayer ... in the Name of Jesus, we praise You, Amen ...

If you can, help her find assistance, she is going to need help. That is what her first actions should be, finding help. How long has your uncle had this disease? People typically live 8 years from the onset.
