Santa is coming in heavy at our locale. Have a 20 year old going to basic training in April, a 12 year old, a 2.5 year old boy and a 18 month old girl. Life is good and I'm even luckier to be of an age where I realize just how fortunate I am. Happy birhtday Jesus, and thanks for everything. ( He does lurk on this site doesn't he?)Some of us better hope not.

We got our three kids (22M 16F 12M) a trip to Hawaii that we'll take during Spring Break.
The oldest is a surfer!

A trip to Hawaii? Thats very cool.
To: conservativefromGa
They'll think so too I hope.
We originally planned to go to Los Angeles, but Hawaii wasn't much more. Plus, Delta has a direct flight from Cincinnati to Honolulu, so we don't even have to change planes.

cell phone/clothes for my 15 yr old and clothes for my 12 yr old. They love anything from Hollister and Aeropostale. Also got them some fun scrapbooking stuff. Since I never got around to it, they could finish the albums.

Our daughter is only 3, so mostly she is getting endless piles of crap. I guess on the higher end she is getting a Barbie car and a new doll house.

Mine picked today to pin me down on the reality of Santa.:(
After shattering her illusions, and explaining the history of St. Nick, and the meaning of love by adults for their children, and initiating her into the great adult conspirancy-
The "spirit" of Santa Claus will deliver a tether ball set, some candy, jewelry and perfume.
I gifted her with a "realistic" baby doll,($38 X#!xing .00) some games, clothes, hair care products, a "real" wedding gown for dress up ($5.75 and some elbow grease courtesyof Goodwill), and what is bound to be her favorite gift-a whoopee cushion.
The gifts were not really important at all, as most(except for the whoopee cushion and the wedding dress)will be soon relegated to the toy room.
Her real gift, and what she will always remember, is our long walk tonight to look at our neighbors Christmas decorations, while we sang songs and acted silly together.
