The Puget Sound FReeper Chapter is one of the most active chapters in the land! (Ask Vice President Cheney.) We'll FReep at the drop of a hat.

But we also have another kinder, gentler side. When out-of-town FReepers come to the Puget Sound area, we try to get the chapter together to meet with them. Last June a Denver FReeper ended up at an intimate dinner party at my place -- where he did the cooking!

We have a very special FReeper out here -- doug from upland, who is visiting family on Whidbey Island. I've been on FR for 6 years, but doug pre-dates even me. Even before I came to be as a FReeper, doug was.

We're going to meet doug for pizza in Oak Harbor.

I'll post the exact address of Godfather's Pizza when I get it. You can approach Oak Harbor from the south by way of the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry, or from the north by way of Anacortes.

I'm still around and still lurking, Publius, and I'd love to make it to Oak Harbor, but I've been working weekends for a few years now, and this one is no exception. Doug from Upland is indeed a celebrity Freeper. I think he pre-dates all of us out here in Lefty-Land.
