GOOD EVENING, ALL!

Well, here we all are, just before the Magic Hour.

Sarge is the only one awake at The Homestead. We finished watching the DVD "Curse of the Black Pearl" that we picked up at Disney last week. Dinner was eggnog, cheesecake, and cinnamon coffee.

One endearing part of The Homestead is the big holly tree in the back yard. Tonight, I went outside, cut three boughs, poured a little eggnog at the base as a "thank you", and decked the halls with the boughs of holly. It looks wonderful, draped across the candleabra in the hall, green with the red berries.

Thanks for keeping the lights on tonight.

Down here at The Homestead, Kath, we do the stockings on Xmas Eve. We all got goodies - food, coffee, small toys, and this year, we EACH got new computer games! Yee-haw! I've been wanting to wrestle with the machine in another contest.

The BIG presents come out tomorrow morning, as per usual. The Boy makes out like a bandit, as always. Missus is getting a new pair of track shoes - she blew hers out in Florida last week - and a 2-hour trip to the salon for a makeover.

Ah, such goes on...
