Phase 1 is over now. I'm home from my brother's house. I'll be going to mom's tomorrow though. Had a great time and a great meal tonight. (Prime rib!)

Marines with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit fire an M1A1 Abrams Tank on Dec. 14 during a live-fire training exercise conducted by Marines and sailors from Expeditionary Strike Group 1 in Central Command’s Area of Responsibility.
 
Santa was real good to the Marines this year with his delivery of some and new exotic toys.

Mike Suhl, from Riverside, Calif., with the 18th Combat Engineer Company, 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division, returned to Forward Operating Base Pacesetter on Christmas Eve from operations in and around Samarra, Iraq, to find his family sent him a holiday package containing a portable DVD player, candy, cookies, cigarettes and a stack of holiday cards.
 
This Troop became upset because his absentee ballot from the 2000 Election just got returned to him. 
 
Al Gore claims that he invented the term "Return to Sender."

Some people simply will not wait for Christmas Day to open their gifts!

ms feather, the wax wings have been swarming today, both at work and here at home. They keep flying into the windows because they are drunk from eating the mountain ash berries.
