Am wondering why this story did not 'fly' - at least on Fox news. Can only think - that they think - it is too complicated to follow.
But surely all the Presidents 'men'; could be pounding this home if only while inhaling on all the media interviews'.
Come on folks out there; this is worse than criminal. . .hold these Dems r e s p o n s i b l e!

Mr. Rockefeller's power in the Senate is enormous; government servants should never have such power. Because of such power, he has become part of the on going problem of partisanship in Washington. He blames Condi Rice for 9/11 in that she should have known. This is of course is a way to get at President Bush, a man he quietly says was never elected president. This erroneous and egregious political sham is what the Democrats are pushing even to our military (al la Michael Moore, BS etc..) The truth about the 2000 election is that it was fraught with fraud on the Democratic side. Forcing a show down from the highest court in the land. There is no doubt in my mind that Mr. Rockefeller should be fired! Because of Mr. Rockefeller's refusal to do anything about MemoGate, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence is no longer viable or trustworthy of the people's security. FIRE SENATOR ROCKEFELLER FROM THAT COMMITTEE.

It's one of the unsolved political mysteries of 2003: Exactly who drew up the plan for Democrats to abuse the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, or SCCI, as a stealth weapon to undermine and discredit President George W. Bush and the U.S. war effort in Iraq? The plot, authored by aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va.So, what's the mystery?"who drew up the plans" --"the plot authored by aides to ......"
What's the mystery?
The mystery is why they are not hung by their toes in the public square!

In other words, they would manufacture and denounce a cover-up where none existed. The Democrats then would drag the issue through the 2004 presidential campaign by creating an independent commission to investigate, according to the memo. Millions of American tax dollars wasted on a non event.
Leave it to low life power hungry democrats to come up with an anti-American lie like this. How many of the military personal are they willing to see dead to regain their power, anyway?
Democrats, Al Quata, and Hammas are all made from the same mold.

Voters need to know who issued that memo.
Who's trying to out a sitting president by using sensitive information for political gain during a time of war?
I hope the Republicans have their own investigation going on concerning this. If tax money is to be used, this is a worthy cause. (It's Republicans money anyway. The Democrat base doesn't work enough to pay taxes.)

The plot, authored by aides to Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., vice chairman of the committee...Insight has pieced together how the Democrats' fishing expedition worked. According to insiders, Mellon, a former Clinton administration official, is part of a network of liberal operatives within the Pentagon and CIA who reportedly are seeking to discredit and politically disable some of the nation's most important architects of the war on terrorism...
The plot was authored by whom...?

Looks like the uncovering of a vast "LEFT WING CONSPIRACY". All know who the "god-mother" of conspiracies is.
Toss old "joe wilson" of hunting "yellowcake" in Africa fame gives more pieces of the liberal puzzle.
There is little doubt that President Bush has moved "INTEL" gathering out of the hands of the "lying liberals" grasp. No way would they have stood still and let the Libyian general come clean.
Old Saddam would most likely would not have been found in that hole in the ground if this bunch had their hands on the "INTEL".

Clinton-era personnel reforms allowed officials of his administration to burrow into vital Pentagon posts as careerists, administration officials say, where they have been maneuvering to keep Bush loyalists out of key positions and/or undermine their authority while pushing their own political agendas that run contrary to those of the president. This network, Insight has discovered, extends to the Pentagon's outer reaches such as the National Defense University and far-flung academic and influential policy think tanks, or "CINC tanks," serving the commanders of the U.S. military theaters around the world. This is a critical point -- these leftist moles have to be identified and removed from positions of authority within the Administration.
