i have been here for quite some time- posting
for 1 year.
The reason I come here is to inform myself-
it seems like my comment about the nukes was
incorrect.

except for the fact that khadafi has been trying to worm his way back into good graces since before 911, maybe not terribly convincingly...

It's the volume and the quality of the intelligence that is wigging everybody out, and the fact that they just don't know" where or when an attack may occur. Ali is smiling behind his computer screen as his psychological warfare terrorizes the infidels.

Yah, with the next islamofacist attack I'm betting the cry of "religion of peace" gets really, really shrill and maddening.
They cant hide it any longer, no matter what they do islam is evil.
And alot of people are gonna find out tolerance will no longer be the "cool" thing to do. It'll start with the mosques, but won't stop there.

Just let Country A know through channels that we (and our armada) will hold it responsible should anything happen to us. I have a hunch this sort of, er, "message" has kept us safe since 9/11. May it continue to do so.Hmm, Saddam may have just been an example of that "message".

Roger Cressey, a former senior Bush administration counter-terrorism official, said the current intercepts have officials so concerned because they so closely mirror the conversations picked up before the Sept. 11 attacks. Uhhmm....so they DID know?
Yes, they knew about chatter, but what the chatter actually meant is a whole 'nuther ball game.

Serious question. I guess I can post this to you and the forum. What are the odds of the milita movement going into full action if we get attacked? I was very surprised they held back the way they did after 9-11. I don't see certain Americans sitting back and giving ANY muslim a pass this time round.
I see certain Americans in jail for a long time, certain Americans who don't have respect for the lives, liberty, and property of their fellow citizens, and who completely disrespect the constitution. Your statement is disgusting.

Nothing will happen but terrorists are simply taking notes on how we respond to chattersMonsoor Ijaz said the SAME THING on a Sunday Fox News interview. This is the STRONGEST warning we have had, by far, since the threat alert system was set up.

I was at the local wal mart tonight and saw 4 county sheriffs doing drive by's every 5 mins outside the store.
Guess the donut shop was closed for some reason?

i have to tell you, I think Bush is pushing this too far with the rhetoric this time. the media is now taking it and spreading fear.I am questioning it as well. I expect the media to make something out of nothing if it's a slow news week, but a lot of the messages coming out of the government seem targeted to instill fear in people.

Direct them toward me. I'll be happy to show them what 44 caliber and a just plain nasty disposition can do in the West Virginia woods. People starting to pack guns is the most likely unintended consequence if A-Q really does start to make terrorist attacks. It would be bad for the victims, but ultimately good for the country.

You know, those families who lost police officers who walked into those buildings at the WTC on 9/11 would not appreciate your flip comments about the donut shops.

We were at code red after 9/11 and none of what you suggested happened. Shopping centers stayed open, transportation continued to transport, etc.

Have wondered the same thing. Should be easily done from the air. And certainly our satellites should locate them easily enough.
Poohbah, what's your explanation for why all such haven't been obliterated instantly as soon as they are sited?

TRUE.
But by how many and in what jobs, roles?
I still think all citizens being alert is a very big plus.
Thanks.

they will come either in the night or in the day. It will be either by land or by air or by sea. It will be a winter day in summertime when the rain is snowing fast.
