When you click on one of the pictures you will be taken to the "Spiegel" slideshow, which loaded pretty quickly, even on a dial up.
These look like they were candids taken by GI's.
There was another slideshow on the same theme last Sunday, the link to that in my comment below.
Click on a picture,

I hope they excute him on worldwide tv with a split screen image of all the dems crying over their loss of a generous and trusted friend.
To: longjack
Amazing. Looks like it was once an efficiency apartment...now it looks like the nest of a large animal. Saddam is a SLOB.

Man, those were some pretty crummy digs Saddam had.
Interesting to note, that in the last photo we can see the famous 'yellow dates' hanging on the tree. This was the source for much tin-foil theory on DU and in the Arab world (let's face it DU is pretty much an integral part of the 'Arab Street')- the conspiracy buffs say the dates would only be yellow in the summer, not December. But these photos, and others like it, are so obviously being taken by journalists who are just now going to the site and the dates are in fact, yellow right now.
Just a side note.

Thanks, Longjack!
Anybody: What's with the $100 a ticket? Surely, the guy guarding the hole wouldn't be allowed to conduct a little personal gain scheme, would he? Or am I being naive?

SHEESH! Don't bite my head off just because I'm stupid. That's my constitutional right, you know.
Other than that, I've enjoyed your other posts and agree with your statements.
