Still no mass weapons, no ties to 9/11, no truth (barf alert)
Boston News ^ | 12/17/2003q | Derrick Jackson

THE INVASION was still a lie. The capture of Saddam Hussein changes nothing about that. There were too many forked tongues in the road to his lair. The way we removed the dictator, we became a global dictatorship.

No major reason for the war has been proven. The deadly WMDs became weapons of mysterious disappearance. In August 2002, Vice President Cheney said: "Simply stated, there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein now has weapons of mass destruction. There is no doubt he is amassing them to use against our friends, against our allies, and against us."

Derrick,

Hating-whitey, hating America, and hating Bush is no way to go through life son.

We showed the Muslim world that we will not be beaten. Remember 9/11? Or has the hatred of President Bush clouded your memory hole?

The original column had "Still no Saddam!", but he had to take that out! ;-)

If the liberals just keep saying it long enough, loud enough and slanted enough... the stupid public may, just may believe them.

"and no tie to 9/11, it could not possibly been worth the lives of 7,600 to 45,000 Iraqi soldiers"

_________________

This guy would probably be shocked to think that some of us question his "intelligence". That's quite a range from 7,600 to 45,000, has anyone else heard these figures anywhere credible?

I'm sure, by his next screed, he'll multiply that figure, by a factor of ten.

Nine months later, no chemical or biological weapons of mass destruction have been found.

Tell that to our new best bud, Gadaafi/Gadaffi/Gaddafi/Kaddafi/Khadafy/ Qadaffi/Qadafi/Qaddafi/Qaddhafi/Qadhafi/Qadhdhafi/Qathafi whose WMDs were "found" by the invasion of Iraq.

Why doesn't this Derrick Jackson put his allegations where his mouth is and go along with coalition troops and lick the inside of every suspicious fifty gallon steel drum they find?

As murderous as Saddam was, an invasion with no reason was not worth the killing of unknown thousands of Iraqi civilians.

Its debatable how many Iraqi civilians died, but that's part of the problem with taking down dictators. The author doesn't seem to get it.

I just cannot believe the joy some of these people have over the fact that we have't found Saddam's WMD's...yet. Instead of concern over where these weapons might be, or who may now have them, they take an incedious pleasure in the fact that they haven't been found. It just shows you were their priorities lie, as it is just about making Bush look bad. And of course, they continue to ignore the abundance of evidence of Saddam's WMD program that was presented by just about everyone else before Bush was even president. The whacky...dangerous, left.

This guy has a number of reality problems. The Iraqi intelligence officer did meet with AQ in Prague. That little memo the council gave us said AQ was doing favors for Saddam in Niger for guess what? Yellow cake. And Mohammed Atta was in Bagdad being trained by terrorist trainer Abu Nidal with Saddam's blessing. Of course Abu Nidal was murdered prior to our entry into Iraq. I'm sure he could have filled in a lot of details.

WMDs, Clinton said he had 'em. The French said he had 'em. The UN said he had 'em. An Iraqi battlefield colonel said they had 'em.The question is not did he have 'em. The question this @#$%^ writer does not ask is: "What did he do with 'em?"

So, as a recap:
Saddam was working with uranium. (WMD)
Saddam was working with AQ and Atta (9/11 tie in)
Saddam's country has 400,000 bodies so far in mass graves. (continuing crime against humanity)

What a brilliant writer. As long as the left continues to beat the anti war drum, President Bush will cream them. It's fun to watch. I get the feeling that the more everyone gets behind Bush on the war, the loonier the lefties claim's get, pushing more regular people behind Bush. November is going to be a hoot.

Conveniently ignored AGAIN by the Boston Globe (aka Boston New; The Original Home and Training Den of Jayson Blair)

========= Chemical Warhead found in Kirkuk =============

Chemical warhead found at an Iraqi air base, marked with a green band,
the symbol for chemical weaponry
. Trace amounts of a nerve agent were found
at two spots along the ~meter-long warhead. These amounts are consistent with
leakage from the chemically armed weapon. A 13-foot missile was found next to it.

========= IRAQI WEAPONS from France USED Against US and Coalition Heroes ========

French missiles were found by the Poles, and to protect France, blown up.

The pompous froggies said they did not say "2003". Decide for yourself.

========= Mass Graves =========

In Najaf, skull unearthed from yet another mass grave of Saddam.

========= Halabja =========

Dead children, previously playing in Halabja
Victims of Saddams' WMD in March 1988.

=========== Documents linking Atta, Saddam, Nidal, bin Ladin ===========

Handwritten letter dated Feb. 19, 1998 linking bin Laden and Saddam Hussein
discussing arrival of a secret envoy sent by bin Laden to Iraq.
The signature beneath the letter is a codename, "MDA" - the Mukhabarat.

=========== 911 Atrocities ===========

Those who do not learn from the PAST, again condemn innocent Americans to repeat it.

These journalists are so stupid to stake such a hard line on the WMD. What will they say when we finally find them? They'll be SOL with the rug ripped from beneath their argument. Same with Osama. You can already start to see some of the dems trying to lay the groundwork for Osama's eventual capture (learning from their Saddam disaster) by saying that we have already got Osama and will bring him out when it is politically useful to the President. But to hang your whole campaign or argument on things like 'We have not found the WMD therefore the war is a lie' or 'The economy is doing badly therefore Bush is an incompetent dunce' is just stupid. When the economy takes an upward turn what then? When we find Saddam/WMD/Osama- what then?

Liberals are just stupid.
