Well I do think of my mother, dead for 11 years daily. She was quite lovely, never was called 'mommy' preferring mother, she was brilliant, a mathematician, was orphaned early and got her way thru grad school. She had six daughters, never once lost her temper or her dignity and was a rock. Thank you for reminding me of her. I hope to be half the woman she was but at my advanced age I do not believe I can catch up to her.

Oh, cajungirl. You just brought a tear to my eye.

My mom and dad live 20 minutes away and we see them often. There's nothing like a mom and those of us who have/had good ones are more fortunate than almost anyone else on earth. How lovely to hear you speak so well of your mom; she can feel those thoughts and is proud of you.

I have a gut feeling the next attack is multiple/simultaneous small nukes in various population centers, followed by the release of chemical/bio weapons.

I lost my Mom six years ago on my anniversary and also think of her daily. She was a renegade conservative fighting the Daley machine, first leader of women in her ward, invited to Nixon's inaugural. Your right I know at my age now I'll never accomplish what she did. It's the women of their generation -smiles-

She must have been quite remarkable and what a terrific daughter you are to appreciate her memory so deeply.
