My family and I made the trip to the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Custer and Deadwood this summer. What a fantastic trip.

You live in beautiful country. We also made a day trip over to Devils Tower, WY and that was spectacular. Hope you can get rid of Daschle, it is a shame that he keeps getting sent back to harm all of us.

I cannot understand why some people repeatedly choose evil over good. We all fall and sin time from time and hopefully learn and mature. But those who chose evil consistently boggles my mind...

I'm looking at his book now, The Lost Son, by Bernard B. Kerik.

We received it last year as a Christmas present and read it immediately, so it's been nearly a year since we read it.

I've looked in the index for specific tip information and do not find any. Did he say in today's interview that he wrote information that we should follow?

In the close, he wrightes about how important airport security is. Then he thinks immigration is second most important and looking at our borders, etc. He supports Ashcroft's antiterrorism package.

In the closing chapter he says this:

"But whatever we do as a nation, much of the responsiblity will rest with Americans as individuals. ...Terrorism represents a challenge for police departments as well. We will have to change the way we police our cities, following trends that were created in places ilke Italy, which had to learn to battle the Red Brigade; England and Ireland, where the Irish Republican Army has been a major le priority; and, of course, Israel and the Arab nations, where terrorism is a fact of daily life. American plice departments will need to improve in almost every area, from intelligence to explosives, from crowd control to emergency training. No AMerican city was as prepared for a terrorist attacks as NY, and yet, in hindsight, there was more we could have done."
