I've got to set my Tivo to record the Sunday talk shows. I really want to see how the Democrats are going to spin a week of Saddam being captured and now Libya turning in al Qaeda and foreswearing WMDs.

Ashur Shamis, founder of the opposition National Front for the Liberation of Libya, said: 'It is an absolutely appalling state of affairs. The British and Americans were prepared to go to war to dismantle a regime like Saddam's. But they are quite happy to accommodate Gadaffi, who is no less tyrannical and repressive.'It seems that the accomodation was done by Gadaffi, not TO Gadaffi, big difference!

How many of these huge (yes, huge) breaking stories can the United States press ignore? That's about a dozen blockbuster stories that have emerged since the capture of Saddam.
And they all come out after a year in which the Democrats and the media have been insisting that Bush is going after the wrong people.

Libya provided detailed intelligence on hundreds of al-Qaeda and other Islamic extremists as part of a deal to end its isolation as a pariah nation, The Observer can reveal. Good job. Let's make sure that all of them know so they can change their names and move.

In related news, Kofi Annan, Tommy D'Asshole, Howard Dean and other "leaders" are deeply saddened.

I wish someone would put some tough questions to Mad Madeline the cleaning lady now. Perhaps this self centered, egotistical sow could make an even bigger fool of herself on TV this Sunday by talking about how GW Bush "botched" it.

Khaddafi was between the proverbial rock and a hard spot. Maintain and meet the 4th I.D. up close and personal or turn on Al Queda and meet a suicide bomber up close and personal. Guess he figured the odds are better going against Bin Laden.

As I (cough) said when the news broke obtaining Libya's help in fighting terrorists may be the biggest news of the past month.
