What of ANY photgrphic images of an airliner actually impacting the Pentagon : widely referred to as the most highly suveilled bulding on Earth? I've seen no photgraphic eveidence of a commecial airliner flying low over D.C that morning.

Are there any images..at all..that exist of this monumental event, and if so, why have they not gone public?

This enquiring mind STILL wants to know.

I didn't realize this hanger was being used to preserve the items. I thought it was being used to store the items to assist in forensics, etc. I think that the people are smart enough to know that if they were to preserve the items, that they would put them in a place more suited to the job.

There was a sequence of images released, but to have noticed, you would have had to paid attention to the massive news coverage. Unfortunately, when all your information comes from nutty french books, it is easy to miss the repeated showings on TV and on the Web.

Sir, I have forwarded a logical question in my mind...sans invonlvement with Reynolds Aluminum and haberdashery. I was inquiring about photographic evidence as it pertains to the Pentagon impact. If you choose to affix tin foil to me because of my inquiry, then so be it.

Were I a relative of any victims of the event, I'm sure that your implied slam would seem justified. I'm merely asking for any scientific (Photographic eveidence) exists that I have not been made aware of. Apparently, your'e not in posession of such eveidence, so carry on with your persuit of demeaning my character.

Why do you assume there are photographs of the 757 that hit the Pentagon while it was flying? I'm not sure if you've ever been to D.C. before, but 757's are flying constantly into and out of Reagan National Airport (which incidently is right next to the Pentagon). People generally don't take pictures of common events.

[Father Stephen] McGraw estimates that the plane passed about 20 feet over his car, as he waited in the left hand lane of the road, on the side closest to the Pentagon.

'The plane clipped the top of a light pole just before it got to us, injuring a taxi driver, whose taxi was just a few feet away from my car.' 'I saw it crash into the building,' he said. 'My only memories really were that it looked like a plane coming in for a landing. I mean in the sense that it was controlled and sort of straight. That was my impression,' he said." For my part, it just defies logic to deny the existence of the plane that hit the pentagon. Four planes were known hijacked. People on board the planes made phone calls confirming the hijackings. Two of those planes hit the World Trade Towers. A third hit the pentagon. The fourth crashed in Pennsylvania.

There is no way a rational person could deny the reality of the situation. I don't even know what purpose is served in trying to deny the truth.

It angers me to think that there are people on this board who are so unable to face the truth that they are willing to believe a completely counterfactual theory before the readily apparent truth.

Barbara Olson is dead. All the people on flight 77 are dead. I have a personal acquaintance who witnessed the plane heading for the pentagon.

It happened. Deal with the truth.

The Pentagon is a tourist attraction (of limited access) in the nations Capitol that is situated near a major highway. I recall snapping pictures of it as a child while passing the building on the highway. It was my thought that someone may have been taking pictures from a similar vantage point on that day.

As I mentioned earlier, the Pentagon is regarded as one of the most heavily survielled buildings in the world (entry points, exit routes, and satellite imagry 24/7.

Pardon my apparent tin foil induced curiosity,but it sems to me that perhaps one of the civilian or governmental imagry devices just might have caught that breech of security. Sure had plenty of images of the WTC impacts (civilian/Network/private surviellence sources.)

Common event, you say. Not as common as you assert...it's the only time it has occurred. Oh yes, I forgot about my tin foil hat falling round my eyes blurring my ability to disseminate pertinant intel provided.

There are pictures of the impact on the Pentagon from a security camera on the Pentagon. I'm sure you've seen them. It would be a coincidence of extreme proportion (probably prompting a conspiracy theory) if someone had snapped a picture of the correct side of the Pentagon at precisely the same instant Flt 77 hit the side of it. There were plenty of images of the second impact on the WTC. Were there any of the first? I don't believe so.

With all due respect, sir , your last post was exactly the type of response I was looking for. I had not been presented with this info in the past. Don't start flaming ME as one who adheres to such dalying trite as you're laying on me. I was asking a question to get some answers , not some smart aleck attack. One of the surveilance devices DID catch it, and we've all seen the frame by frame a hundred time. You don't point surveilance cameras at random spots in the sky, nobody has pictures of any of the other 3 aircraft just flying around either. What you're asking for is silly, whyt would any remotely sane person take pictures of some damn plane flying around doing nothing particularly interesting. It's not until they actually hit something that they became photo-worthy.

Yes sir. There were images of a NYFD company checking for gas leaks around some man hole cover when the first plane impacted the North tower.
