FINDLAY(Ohio) -- A former pastor convicted of breaking into the homes of church members asked God and a judge for forgiveness at his sentencing.
Thomas Willow, former pastor of Grace Bible Church of Arlington, received a suspended 16-month prison term in Hancock County Common Pleas Court Wednesday.
"I deeply regret what happened and I wish there was something I could do to make it right," Willow said. "I'm asking for your mercy."
Judge Reg Routson ordered Willow to undergo counseling and serve 90 days in the county jail or at a rehabilitation center.
Sheriff's reports said Willow, 34, broke into the homes to masturbate.

Not really. Way too many church pastors and ministers molesting young girls out there. Seems like there's always a story. Better he does this, I say.

God told him to play Onan.
Genesis 38:9, 10
[9] And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother's wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.
[10] And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.

Seems like there's always a story. Better he does this, I say. Sounds to me like the missing part of the story has to do with the ladies inside the houses. I'm guessing they were somewhat less than unattractive.
And I'm also guessing that this ex-pastor is high on the list of potential rapists.

Willow, 34, broke into the homes to masturbate now see theres the problem, if he had just gone inside to sleep with their little boys he would not have to do time.

What demonination is this church? I don't know anything about this particular church or pastor, but frequently "Bible" churches are non-denominational congregations which adhere to a dispensational, pre-mil eschatology. (Think the "Left Behind" book series). Frequently the pastors have attended Dallas Thological Seminary in Texas.

Save it for prison. You'll need it. Strangely enough, no prison for this sicko -- suspended sentence.

Wow, I missed that in the article. Stange times, indeed.
Thanks for the info.

Somewhere in Ohio there are some parishners in desperate need of therapy (in addition to a good steam cleaning service).

Hahahaha---I shouldn't laugh I know. And how do they know he masturbated? Did he tell the cops? Cleansing his soul by confessing, huh? Not only will he be in hell but he'll be blind if he keeps it up...hahaha, I made a funny.

Grace Bible Church is probably unafilliated protestant. It would be interesting to know why this pervert is an ex-pastor.
From the sketchy story one can only assume that he had a crush on the some of the lady parishoners.
This jackass should have had some jail time administered.

It appears there are other churches in this protestant sect.

WCC/socialist PC then. Sorry, I was not clear enough in my answer. Most Bible churches are non-denominational, not interdenominational. Very conservative, both politically and socially. Anti-WCC, anti-NCC. Conservative in theology except for their view of the "end times". Since they don't have a denominational structure, there is no higher body to screen/rein in a pastor who is going astray. They can be distinguished from Baptists because they are not dogmatic on the issue of infant vs. adult baptism, and they are dogmatic on their view of the second coming.
