"There were people, certainly, if I was doing the job, who would certainly not be in the position that they were in at that time because they failed. They simply failed."
True...for example, the entire Clinton administration. Putting intelligence on hold, gutting the military, and making us look "attackable" through his & his team's antics domestically and internationally. This was an follow-up to the initial WTC bombing attempt hatched well before the actual event.

Kean seems like a decent guy. I saw him on Nightline.
Heads should roll for 9/11. Mid-level management in our intel agencies, it seems.

Kristin Breitweiser, a 9/11 widow who has been a leader of the family groups, said in a recent interview: "It's been more than two years since my husband was murdered . . . and I still don't know why he's dead." This is one 9/11 family member I'm really sick of hearing from.

Somebody needs to find the secret DNC headquarters where all these strategies are developed and "take 'em out."
The sad thing is that if the policies of the Dems had any chance of working - they wouldn't need to spin them.
This year we will be treated to the "hate Bush" theme, since, as a group, they have nothing to say about anything. I guess it's like rooting for the Cubs. You can't win the game....but at least you can hate the other team.

9-11 Commission.
Commission Members Thomas H. Kean Chair Lee H. Hamilton Vice Chair Richard Ben-Veniste Fred F. Fielding Jamie S. Gorelick Slade Gorton Bob Kerrey John F. Lehman Timothy J. Roemer James R. Thompson
This was a crock from the get-go, and is all about covering up Bubba's actions during his two terms. If they can get anything to stick to Bush, that would be an added benefit.
The best proof of this: the questions the committee didn't ask or answer, and the people they didn't talk to...

"and I still don't know why he's dead"
hhmmm, maybe it has something to do with islam--you know--that religion of pieces and the animals that support it or at least give quiet nods of encouragement.

Does anyone find the TIMIMG of the news of this 9/11 commission curious. Two days after the tremendous triumph of 'The Capture of Saddam', this curious thing hits the news all of a sudden, I feel, meant to diminish or remove the positive feelings for Bush and the administration. It is way too strange.
IMO, the mainstream media is this country's worst (and effective) enemy!

Tommy Kean, is the biggest spender to hold the office of NJ Governor. During his stay at Morven, he increased state spending more than Brendon Byrne, Jim Florio and Jim Mc Greedy combined! He salivated over the Reagan economic boom as he implemented the Kean Socialist dreams.
His comments are merely an effort to raise his position in the Extreme Leftist "Hate the United States" crowd. He is very comfortable writing a column with his co-spender Bryne Byrne!

Kean's "agenda" is, somehow, inexplicably, that of the Clinton's, and the democrat party. It is intended to deflect the real blame from Clinton, not really holding the Bush administration accountable, and at the same time protect Hillary Clinton and her viability. Contrary to his protestations, it is not about getting the truth out for the truth's sake. It is about politics - aided and abetted by CBS, NYT, CNN, ABC, NBC, NPR, and on and on.
