Muslim-Turned-Christian Evangelist Says America is Deceived About Islam
AgapePress.Org ^ | October 27, 2003 | By Chad Groening

(AgapePress) - A former Muslim is deeply concerned about the Bush Administration's desire to welcome Muslims to the White House during the month of Ramadan. Now a Christian evangelist, W.L. Cati believes pandering to God's enemies will not bode well for America's future.

National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice recently reiterated the Bush Administration's position that the war on terrorism is not a war between religions. And Rice says the president is respectful of Muslims and will welcome them to the White House during the month of Ramadan, which begins October 27 and extends through November 23.

W. L. Cati is a former Muslim and founder of Zennah Ministries. She says she is not surprised that the president is being deceived.

"We're fulfilling the end-times prophecies," she says. "[The Bible] says that in the last days that even the elect -- and he's among the elect -- would be deceived if it were possible.

"The other thing [that scripture] goes on to say is that in the last days, what is good will become bad and what is bad will become good. So we're so confused on what's good and what's bad," Cati says. "I don't know why we've gotten so 'religion tolerant' -- Jesus was not tolerant of other religions."

America, she predicts, will face serious consequences in the future if its leaders continue to pander to the enemies of Jesus Christ. "Go and look at the U.S. Government's website that has just been posted about the Muslim life [which says] how wonderful it is," she says. "They are selling it to us every which way but up -- and I tell you, we are so deceived right now."

Cati believes that if Americans do not kneel before God and fast and pray for repentance, the U.S. will not be the same country 18 months from now.

Jack van Impe has been praising Islam and Islamics since not too long after September 11 ... totally bizarre ... a cursory reading of the koran clearly shows allah is not the God of Israel ... Schuller "preached" in a mosque in Damascus, Syria ... also bizarre ...

it's their strange mixing of truth with these bizarre statements like "he admires the moslems because they pray 5 times per day" ... oh yeah, they get a stem-winding sermon in the mosques in "Palestine" and pray just before they go out to riot against the Israelies ... the tremendous doctrine differences between the two hardly seem worth mentioning to him ...

I might add, I think there's an outside chance that Bush knows the truth about Islam. But if he indicates same, Americans would turn on Muslims and we'd have chaos in every village and city in America after our grief on 9/11.

Anytown, USA would have turned into the killing fields.

Speaking of the 19 hijackers who thought it was a good thing to rob thousands of families of their mothers, fathers, husbands, wives, sons, daughters, sisters and brothers; who thought paradise is earned by slitting the throats of women flight attendants; who thought that killing “infidels” bought them the highest reward, bin Laden said, “These persons learned from the traditions of our prophet Muhammad.”

And there it is. The world’s most wanted terrorist just told us whose example he’s following. Funny thing, though. Nobody seems to have heard him. Not the media. Not the religious “leaders.” Not the spokesmen for the “Muslim community.” And especially not the politicians. All prefer, it seems, to continue chanting the “Islam is a peaceful religion” mantra, to keep defending the indefensible, to predictably ignore the warning signs. And when it’s too late and yet another September 11th scenario dawns, they will, no doubt, be the first to point fingers and ask, “Why didn’t somebody tell us.” But he did. As do all of those who “learned from the traditions of [the] prophet Muhammad.” If only the mindless muttering of “Islam is a peaceful religion” would stop long enough for them to be heard. [home]

"I might add, I think there's an outside chance that Bush knows the truth about Islam."

More than an outside chance, IMO. At one extreme, we could have declared all out war with all of islam. The other extreme would be to give up and not even fight.

Bush has opted for a more targeted middle path. Take on the worst, and push islamic nations to restrain there own extremists.

He warned on Sep. 20, 2001 that it would be a long conflict. And that we would prevail.

You don't see an islamic nation rushing forward to be the next Afghanistan or Iraq, right now. I'd reckon we are ahead, in the early rounds.

Blood Must Flow, There Must Be Widows, There Must Be Orphans

It was early that Tuesday morning in September. Financial analysts, stock traders and other office workers were busy as the second day of the week began. One CEO of a financial services group had not arrived on time that day because he was personally driving his children to their first day at school.

Meanwhile, at three U.S. airports, sychronized terrorist operations had begun. They had boarded as ordinary passengers, carrying combs that had the handles sawn off into stabbing weapons, and then reassembled to look like ordinary combs. They possessed boxcutters in their carry-on baggage, proven by repeated tests to be ignored by airport x-ray screeners. Their objective: Subdue the flight crew and passengers and hijack 4 civilian airliners nearly simultaneously. They had selected certain long-range early-morning flights to minimize potential passengers who might resist them and to maximize the explosive fuel in the aircraft.

Once airborne, the 15 Saudi Arabians and 1 Egyptian and 3 others prepared to spring into action. With the pilots behind locked doors, they began killing flight attendants and passengers, knowing that the concerned pilots would open the doors to help the victims. Having trained on flight-simulator software and at flight schools, designated members of the terrorist teams gained control of the aircraft, telling the surviving passengers they had bombs and would blow up the airliner if any more resistance was encountered.

The primary target: The twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City where Islamic terrorists had failed in 1993 to cause the towers to topple into each other and then other buildings like dominos. This time they would not fail; where the 1993 attempt failed because the bomb prematurely exploded, this time two separate teams would each ram aircraft into the buildings at 500 miles per hour. A third team aimed for the Pentagon, slamming into the side of the huge building. The fourth team did not fare as well; their passengers informed through cell-phones that hijacked aircraft had already crashed into the World Trade Center, the passengers fought back against their assailants. The fourth team would not reach their potential targets of the cooling towers of the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania, the Capitol Building in D.C. or the White House itself (all have been reported as potential targets of the hijackers of Flight 93). They crashed into an open field, unable to complete their final objective.

Had America attacked the terrorist's homelands? Indeed no, neither Egypt nor Saudi Arabia has ever been attacked by the United States of America. For these 15 Saudi Arabians and 4 other Middle Eastern men, their motivation was one of an idealogy that has made people either living converts or dead martyrs at the edge of a sword for 1400 years. And this ideology holds "jihad" as a "sacred" cause.

But there were other examples. In 2002, at Bali, Indonesia, a bomb exploded in a nightclub, killing 202 people and injuring 300. At the Marine barracks in Lebanon in 1983, a truck bomb exploded killing 250 United States Marines. In 2000, at the port of Aden, Yemen, a boat bomb exploded nearly sinking a United States warship killing 17 U.S. sailors and injuring 39 more. In 1996, a truck bomb exploded in Saudi Arabia killing 19 U.S. servicemen and injuring many more. In 1998, twin bombings of U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania killed 224 people. In 1988, a bomb exploded in the cargo hold of a Pan-Am 747 killing all 259 people on board and 11 on the ground. In Israel, bombs exploded at discos, at restaurants, in hotels, on buses and in shopping malls. In August, 2003 a bomb explodes next to a hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia, killing 10 and wounding nearly 150. In the Sudan and Algeria, thousands upon thousands are killed or maimed or unjustly imprisoned. All of these acts were committed by Islamic terrorists and all of these acts required funding, extensive organization and support networks.

And the CEO who was late that day because he took his children to school? He lost 700+ employees that day, September 11, 2001.

In less than 4 hours, 2800+ Americans were dead and more than 7,000 were injured. 4 airliners worth more than $150 million dollars were crashed and two towers that cost $750 million to construct were completely destroyed along with several surrounding buildings. Total economic damage was estimated at exceeding $100 billion dollars.

In the 1994 documentary, "Terrorists Among us: The Jihad in America", an American-based Muslim cleric demanded his listeners perform jihad against the infidel. "Blood must flow," he said, "There must be widows, there must be orphans."

Blowed flowed on that day. There are now many widows and there are now many orphans

I have to tell you, Ramadan at the People's House offended me on such a deep level. I tried to tell myself that Bush, and Powell, who looked very uncomfy, were trying to be politically savvy in regards to making it clear to the Middle East that ours was not a war against Islam.

I have since written that off as being the reason, it may be one reason, but in the big picture I see it as a promotion of Islam as a welcome part of American diversity and a demand on American citizens to embrace an unacceptable, dangerous, cult that is the exact opposite of our Christian foundations and principles.

I think as a Christian politician, Bush should live in greater fear of offending God than Islam. You can claim this Harvard grad is ignorant of the facts, but one's immortal soul and awsome responsibility to his nation and his God should reasonably demand earnest study, intelligent inquiry, and deep reflection on ones views and opinions, making sure that they jive with God's will.

Islam, Satanism, is determined to make inroads into D.C. using oil money to buy influence and through that into our laws and our daily lives. Bush should not be the doorman for that.

Robert Schuller said he wouldn't mind if an Islamic were President of the United States or if his grandchildren converted *to* Islam ...

Please say it sn't so ......!!!

I'm not particularly one who has either endorsed or discredited Robert Schuller, but how can he be a Christian, and not care if his children or grandchildren are believers in Christ, and His work of salvtion ?

Do you have a link, or remember where you saw this ?

Jesus was not tolerant of other religions, there is but one path.

But Jesus did not tell us to ignore, push out or harm people of other religions. Jesus never told us to setup Christian Governments.

We need to welcome law abiding citizens into our country - so they have an opportunity to accept Christ as their Savior.

That's a nice sentiment, one that in most cases I would agree with.

But in this case, it is no different than inviting in sworn Communists during the Cold War, who had the notion of "converting " us to their way of thinking.

NO.

This country, from the beginning, has provided a refuge for those persecuted for their beliefs. Around the world, it is not Muslims who are being persecuted, but others (Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists) who are being persecuted and overwhelmingly by Muslims. Their intent in coming here is NOT to be converted, but to convert us. All the while, our Christian brothers and sisters are being murdered, as well as the recipients of other atrocities, while in Muslim lands.

It is these Christian brothers and sisters, law abiding persons, who should be welcomed with preference in our immigrant/refugee regulations and laws.

Take a lesson from Europe: Muslims do not come to be part of our culture; they wish to make their culture predominant.
