Malice: A stupid cop ignoring evidence that the sniper is black and then intentionally harrasing any "disgrumbled" whitey driving a van.

Yes, but, had Chief Moose been after Michael Jackson, Moose would have been right in going after a white guy in a van. Go figure!

Hope that you're right.

If it was DC or Federal Court in DC, they might just order him to hang out with John Hinckley.

If I was sneaky, I would have started this thread when the jury started deliberating. (Don't use that idea, I'll want to use it later. :)

I'm gonna start a Breaking News thread today called "Verdict in Major Case Expected", which I will apply to some criminal act which has not yet occurred.

I bet that juror benefited from the finest education our free government schools provide.

I bet that juror decided that even a free education wasn't worth the effort.

Hard to give him an "insanity" after the govt. lawyers pulled out those letters he wrote to another prisoner on how to deceive interrogators.

Truth is, despite all the hype and excitement on Court TV that insanity defenses generate, they're not real successful at actually getting defendants acquitted.

get used to that, a lot of posts aren't on topic. tons of us use humor sometimes, even in the darkest of circumstances.

That's one of the quirks that makes FR great.

I think you are correct, anytime a jury comes back this quick it is almost always a guilty verdict. As for the furor this morning over the request for the definition of "malice" -- I think this pertains as to whether the jury will recommend that he be carried over for Death Penalty consideration.

Excellent news. Who knows, Greta may even jump off the Kobe/Laci/Scott/Jacko merry-go-round for five minutes or so to give this a mention.
