"The Dims have no platform ... no religion, no positive moral values, nothing that would endear them to evangelicals"
So??? 8-) Just talk a different talk, and as anyone with an IQ over that of a pinecone can conclude the supposed conservative party hasn't change a thing except a lowering of taxes.
Just watch the dims start talking the talk for conservatives and evangelicals...

They can't. They'll lose their base. They are too heavily invested in hatred for religion.
Go over to a democrat website such as DU and take a peek. They save their bitterest invective, besides for Bush, for people of faith. They call us "fundies". Their favorite derogatory nickname for Lieberman (whom they hate) is "Holy Joe". They call him a DINO and think he should leave the party because he is really a Republican in disguise.
The bottom line is, if you say you are religious and feed the poor, that's acceptable. But if you attempt to live out your faith in any other way, you are a dangerous Nazi.

Not that I would vote dim, but it'd be nice to be wanted... *sniff* ;o) Series, I have wondered which party would cater to such a bloc of voters. It could be Hugh!

...the supposed conservative party hasn't change a thing except a lowering of taxes. My wife switched to Republican because they were the ones who tossed out the 55-mph speed limit. Now that she's here, she's found lots more she agrees with.
The Republican party keeps making the mistake of not securing their religious conservative base and then find themselves of having to cave on issues such as taxation and spending because they lack sufficient levels of support. How often to we see postings and posters where alleged conservatives slam social conservatives as "fundies?"
