That's a very low and cowardly thing to do. I had no complaint with the article being posted here...you did. The thread itself bears this out. Shame you had to bother the admin, but I guess some guys just can't resist running to mommy.

I repeated to Admin Moderator that you are VERY upset this article was not pulled, and that you added the threat that you will be pulling all funding and quitting the forum if this article is not pulled. I really don't know what about this article bothers you so, but, so be it.

I mean, if you feel so strongly about it that you want to have your screen name pulled if the article stays... well, it shows conviction, that's for sure.

I'm just curious as to who considers the dude a brilliant conservative writer, as you put it. I've yet to see any on this thread.

I'll see you a conservative and raise you a libertarian. There must have been some, but I never saw anyone say this guy was a great conservative much less brilliant, much less a great writer.

I get the impression that this clown really is obscure and the certain folks trot out stuff of his periodically to smear by association folks who don't agree with them 100%. "See, you don't agree with us. Justin doesn't agree with us. Therefore, you hate Jews."

It's similar to what the libertyphobes pull when they try to imply that liberty-minded FReepers are in the same boat as that $hithead Harry Browne.

Wow....you ran twice to mommie on my behalf (and without my asking)....how sneakey of you.

It's also interesting to see how little you think of their time, that it's yours to waste when in a snit.

You know...I may not particularly appreciate you, and you may not particularly appreciate me....but I would never have done what you have stated that you have done.

Never.

We could start with something like this...

Our thoughts are captive to the left/right visualization of politics. As a result, leftist suppression is touted while lifestyle regulation is soft-pedalled. We need a new way of seeing where we are.

Let's have a line that begins with liberty and ends at authoritarian. That way, oppression of any sort is seen for what it is, and not whitewashed when it comes from the home team.

"I get the impression that this clown really is obscure..."

Despite the selective memory of one, your impression is very wrong. raimondo used to be be popular with the anti-establishment crowd (you know, the lp'ers) and the buchanan folks.

Sure, I understand the selective memory...but it doesn't change anything.

So that's what, one percent of the population? That's not a very convincing argument that he's not obscure.

I just told the Moderator you've decided to quit the forum, and that you want your screen name taken off the system.

Such a shame. What a promising FR future you had, if only you had stayed the course and not allowed one article to make you this upset.

Let's have a line that begins with liberty and ends at authoritarian.

There is a test that measures one on both the traditional left/right scale as well as the authoritarian/libertarian scale. Stand by, I'll try to find it.

Good point. I think, though, that if someone like JimRob got snookered by this guy, perhaps you should give other folks who may have taken him seriously a pass as well.

I don't want to measure myself, in this instance. I am talking about rating government and political parties. We can't decide if the elephant needs changing until we see it for what it is.

I have...I didn't mention any names. And as I have already said, I posted this so those with any doubts might make up their mind (and one person who responded to this thread didn't see where raimondo isn't conversative apparently) and to remind people that sickies like this are still out there.

It's kind of like why do people continue to post Harry Browne's crap...to keep people on their toes.

Picky picky. (the wording sucked too)

Resign me too Laz. I'm not passing the popularity contest here. LOL

Boy, mr.pink was a live one, huh? That was fun. I like to see how far they'll believe me. I would have been complaining to his Condominium board and having the IRS and Homeland Security investigate him -- in his mind, of course -- had we continued. But it looks like he's banned. ;^)

I'm not passing the popularity contest here.

But I still love you.

From my ticker, man.
