Imus hates DIANE SAWYER with a vengence! Called her all types of names after she interviewed Whitney Houston...may have to watch him in the morning to see what he thinks of this interview.

You just brought tears to my eyes. I understand exactly what you felt. God bless you!
To: Jorge
Sometimes I allow myself to imagine election day next year and finding out that President Bush was defeated...the image just refuses to be absorbed by my mind. We have to work our butts off for him to make sure he is still living in the White House on January 20, 2005. The media and the RATS(I know, same thing) will do all they can to destroy him. It is clear to me now that they will lie and distort with abandon in order to sink him. He is depending on us and we can't let him down.
And it must have been so wonderful to be at his inauguration...wow. What a memory that must be for you.

(I still liked the interview, though...) Stop saying that crap!!!!!!!!!! :-)

Darn it, I missed it.
Stepdaughter wrenched her back and I now have 2 sleepy wild children in the other room -- finally!

I was out at the time of this interview so especially enjoyed reading the Freepers' expert analysis of what happened....thanks for your ping!
Sounds like our President was candid, honest & authentic...while DS was obviously biased, rude & b*tchy!

And, get this... she is wearing 'F-me' pumps, AT HER AGE (58?) I noticed that! (I'm just starting to watch in CA) I wouldn't mind having those shoes, but they're a little unprofessional.

"And an angel still rides in the whirlwind and directs this storm." George W. Bush, Inaugural Address, January 20, 2001. Words that will stay with me always, as will the image of the sun coming out while the new President gave his inaugural speech on an otherwise cold, rainy day."Which must be why I felt compelled to play "Ode to Joy" at full volume and open all the windows for the neighbors to hear, too...even though it was a very cold day!

Orson Scott Card?! No kidding... I'll check it out.
I do know that David Gerrold (Trouble with Tribbles/Star Trek, When Harlie was One, War against the Chtorr) Gets It. He had a marvelous tribute to the heroes and fallen of 9-11 on his website for a long time.

Just once I would like to see President Bush get respect from the media during interviews like Slick Willie did for 8 years(and he didn't deserve it). Sawyer makes me sick
She makes a lot of us sick. You have dreamed the impossible dream .The Left will never, ever stray into questioning their own spawn.

Bush has stolen two things which Democrats believe they own by right: the presidency & the future I remember when you changed your tagline....I thought that was a poor choice of words in the original article and I am surprised that you keep repeating it.

Sounds like our President was candid, honest & authentic...while DS was obviously biased, rude & b*tchy! Well she was clearly towing the liberal line, and you should have seen the sceptical expressions on her face as Bush responded to her biased questions.
But I say overall the interview made Bush look good.

I think I got that from some CNN poll <<< Since you believe in polls, you might check the poll numbers on those that believe CNN has a policy of un-biased veracity!
