I thought he was outstanding, and handled himself very well!

What's with DS anyway?

Always a shot of her legs whenever the camera moved backed a little.

Really! High heels??
What's up with that?

Let's face it, she's no Laurie Dhue!

I went to the ABC web site to send them an email about my reaction to the interview. I also checked out their message board regarding the interview and most of the people commenting there also thought Sawyer was biased and rude. Maybe you're just in a mellow mood tonight.

LOL

I swear, I came to post that I must be full of the Christmas spirit, having been doing decorating before sitting down to watch this! You're probably right. I got tickled to see you perceive that was probably the case.

:)

I just finished watching it. My overall impression was that both G and L were stressed. Maybe they had more pressing things on their minds than this interview, and are getting sick of answering the same questions over and over. Was it my imagination, or did it seem like Miss Laura wanted to come out of her chair and put an @$$-whoopin on Sawyer?

Meow.

Excellent idea to use the Halabja pictures.

I always wondered why those who claim to expouse tolerance are not very tolerant of other's opinions.

The President says the best day of his presidency was the day he was sworn in. That was one of the best days of my life, too, Mr. President.

Six months before President Bush was sworn in, my parents gave me a free-standing flagpole & American flag for my lawn. A couple of months later my mother asked me if I had erected the pole and was flying my flag. I replied "not yet". She asked if I needed for her to have my father erect the pole for me since I obviously didn't have time. I said "no".

Finally on Jan. 20th 2001, the day that President Bush took the oath of office, I planted my flagpole and saluted my flag as my wife raised it for the first time. I then called my mother and told her that "Now, I can fly it with pride & dignity".

PS: I was a 50 year old man at the time.

I also love President Bush and keep him and his family in my daily prayers, Republic.

diane saywer? She was crushed. She had a record shut out 100 to zero - Bush, tonight, for he was so damn sincere, that even diane couldn't spin too much.

Justice will prevail, here on earth and in Heaven.

But one good thing about an interview like this, when a reporter is obviously going after President Bush with disrespect and petulance so exposed, voters notice. Oh not the hard left, anti-war, hate Bush minority on the far left fringe, but the rational voter who pays attention to news.

President Bush tax cuts DO stimulate the economy.

President Bush IS a man of his word.

Huh?? ... he did say he knew who he was voting for

No. Bush made a comment about not voting "against"...referring to the negative Dimms.

He said both. He said he knew he was voting for (himself, natch), and he hoped the American people agreed. He also said he didn't know who he was voting against since the dims haven't selected a nominee yet.

Thanks for the thread. I couldn't watch this tonight because I was babysitting grandkids. It's probably just as well that I didn't.

Oh, gag, McCain is on Greta's show pushing for an international tribunal for Saddam. Says it would educate the world...like if it was in Iraq it wouldn't be televised. What a jerk.

Tim Russert would not have behaved this way,

Haven't been watching MTP lately?

he should have been given the interview.

X, I thought she was obnoxious! She interrupted the President while he was speaking! She was pushy and driving her and the liberal media agenda! I am sure she will get all the kudos from her associates that she was coveting, and more! In the end, the President was clearly the shining star in the interview; he stayed on message! And that is the key to handling people like Di-ane Saw-yer!

What was the point of showing Richards saying "Bush has never worked in his life."

Because Sawyer asked him if would be harder to run against a woman if HRC becomes the dem nominee and he pointed out he'd run against a woman before. The clip served to show he can deal with b!tches. And judging from the majority view here of DS, he demonstrated it during the interview, too! :)

(I still liked the interview, though...)

I will never forget Inauguration Day. I cried as this man took the oath of office.

I was there and saw GW inaugerated in person. One of the best days of my life.

The only things marring the day were the stupid protesters and clinton hogging the limelight.

The protesters were not as numerous as the media portrayed. They were hugely outnumbered by the pro-Bush crowds.

I think that woman candidate question had less to do with bush than DS "planting the seed" that women are tougher than men as candidates. Its a line from the feminist majority project. A radical group determined to make all elected officials women. They call themselves progressives and the hold seminars on how to get ellected.

DS also wanted to get the public "used" to the idea of a woman running against the president. (It must have been a favor to hitlery.)
