Nah, shoot the whole plane down just after it enters US airspace in the Atlantic. That way you'll take down a bunch of his butt buddies and fellow sadistic SOB's with him and save on the prospect of an endless trial on Fox - all at the same time. If you want a three-fer, test out a new SAM on the plane, and that way we save on testing costs (I know, drones don't cost much, but every little bit helps).

Or you can take it down in the middle of the Atlantic so it won't be found again and just say that it must have had a shoe bomber on board. After all, Syria is in tight with the terrorists, maybe someone's shoe just might go off prematurely. It's plausible...

This is what happens when partisanship gets out of control. Foreign policy is conducted by the executive branch, not the legislative branch. It doesn't work when the US is trying to isolate Syria but Shiela Jackson-Lee is inviting its dictator to the US on a cordial visit to meet with receptive audiences. It works across purposes. Jackson-Lee's naivete only is a further embarassment (ie: he sent us a picture of him with his kids). She is doing the U.S. a disservice by imputing distinction and respect to a tyrant that funds terrorists.
