Here's hoping Judge Moore gets a fair shake this time around.

All seven of those "former" judges are Democrats.

Seven retired judges, including a former governor, were selected randomly in a lottery MondayWould that be a 'Michigan judiciary'-style lottery?

Supreme Court Chief Justices of States can not disobey Federal Court decisions.
Moore will lose, again.

That's ok, he just need to extend his 15 minutes until Alan Keyes arrives. Then the assclowing can begin.

All 8 of our current state Supreme Court Justices are Republicans.
Moore, however, is the odds-on favorite to defeat our current Republican governor in the 2006 Primary.

Let's be very clear here. You claim to be a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church. You claim secular law trumps God's Law?

Do we want to officially disagree and go through it again?
Or can we just say, "refer to previous threads....it's all been said?" :>)

You claim secular law trumps God's Law? It is not "God's law" to put a rock with the 10 Commandments on it in the lobby of a building.
This went all the way to the Supreme Court, which refused to allow Moore to keep his rock.

It's up to you. Your man has lost every single time.
He will lose again.

It's the principle I'm interested in.
Free Speech.
But "free speech" isn't in fashion with courts this year. Not even in Wash DC.

If this was about the removal of a plaque that had been sitting there forever and someone decides to come along and get it removed, it's something I'd take issue with. But apparently this guy put it there himself with the intention of causing a confrontation (which many people are not aware of). I can't have much sympathy for that, myself, and I don't think it does anything for the cause.

Yep, Man's law wins in your book.

selected randomly in a lottery Monday They are reporting that Moore will not recognize the jurisdiction of the judges because they were selected by a lottery, which is gambling, and a sin.(kidding)

Man's law wins in your book. In cases where there is no divine law contravening, you bet it does.
