FReep Howard Dean in AZ Tomorrow

Howard Dean is coming to Arizona tomorrow. "Welcoming Committees" are being formed right now to great him. A Social Security reform group called For Our Grandchildren is organizing some of the greeting parties. Some FReepers are going to be involved too.

Here's the info:

Sun City Rally: 8:30am at Sundial Recreation Center 103rd Ave. at Boswell Blvd ("Welcoming committee" meeting at far end of parking lot.)

Jessica Bortolini will be meeting demonstrators on the far end of the parking lot to organize. If people are looking for Jessica, her car is a green Honda civic.

Yuma Rally: 12:30pm at Ramada Inn Chilton Conference Center 300 E 32 St.

Sierra Vista Rally: 3:00pm at the Sierra Vista Municipal Airport ("Welcoming committee" arriving at 2:30pm)

Jonathan Paton will be meeting demonstrators. We have signs available but bring or make your own if you are feeling artistic! If you have any questions Jonathan can be reached by cell at 520-245-9337. A group will be also leaving from Tucson to go to the demonstration if anyone cares to join them.

A friend of mine heard on the radio this morning that the Sierra Vista appearance of Howard Dean has been moved to a hangar near the airport. I assume everyone will be able to find it.

I'm not going to be able to make it. Still haven't got over this flu and I'm off work for the 2nd day. Wife is sick too and has appt. this afternoon to see doc. Wish I could make it.

Man (not a FReeper) carrying Coward Dean/Draft Dodger sign was physically assaulted by Dean supporters!

Dean supporters had to be bused in from Tucson.

Local school bused 8th graders to this partisan political candidate's rally.
