"Capture of Saddam is opportunity to give fresh impetus to search for peace and stability in Iraq."
Capture of Saddam is the UN's opportunity to give fresh impetus to search for a piece of the prize in Iraq.
That sounds more like Annan.

I hope for Saddam to spill the beans on Kofi and the scam program Saddam and Kofi ran called "Oil for Food". They made millions off of it.

I completely concur.
Sec.State Powell should bring Saddam in irons to the UN General Council and shame the UN members that opposed the coillition of the willing going into Iraq and praise our friends for making this moment possible.

DITTO to all these sentiments! as OUR president said a while back the UN ran the risk (and lost) of becoming irrelevant. Or something like that.

Kofi: "You have murdered and tortured 100,000 people? Why, I....I....CONDEMN your actions! I DEPLORE your actions! So there. Now, gimme some more money."
