As bad as Geragos, Dershowitz, Allred, et al,. are, the only attorney in the US that is low enough to represent Sahham is Stanley Cohen.

Yo, Senator!

DaPharmer and me wuz at Albertson's today an' I almost prevailed upon Phil to snag the WEEKLY WORLD NEWS. . . . the one with the story about the girl removed from the block of ice from Mt. Everest, frozen for decades . . . ALIVE!

I thought that it'd be a good venue to come back to FreeRepublic, but Phil maintains that we're still through with TRASH. The compromise was that instead of posting TRASH I could post probable news. He even let me post it initially in BREAKING NEWS. The AdminModerator had other thoughts.

Have a nice day, Senator!

I believe Pharmer Phil has accumulated enough political capital here to get the PTBs to create a "Probable News" section...

Oh Yeah! The kitty is loose! Betty Curry had him under control for a while, but it looks like he used a hairball to pick the lock on his cage!

SocksC @ under the bed atthe whitehouse.com! Welcome home kitty!

Please start raking out all of the evil trash you were famous for in the last admninistration.

Can't wait for the latest trash on Hillary, Bill and their speckeled pup, Chelsea!

Made to order for Johnny Cochran. I can hear it now, "If you come from Tikrit, you gotta acquit."

It was a good joke, even the first 5 or 6 times I saw it posted this morning. I'm not sure which of the first early morning (2:16AM PST) threads had it first to give proper credit, but it was one of them.

Bill Clinton should be on trial here in the USA for the murder of American innocents throughout his term, whom he did nothing to protect, and for not taking clear steps to protect America from 911! His penalty should be to have to either choose between burning jet fuel or leaping off a tall building. At least the traitor will have a choice. The innocent Americans murdered on 911, which he and his wife caused had none!

$750,000 is just a retainer. Saddam is going to need a lot more than that.

Nah. Dershowitz.

I'm no Dershowitz fan, but read this and you'll understand why he won't be showing up to help Saddam or any other terrorist scumbag.

CBS's Dan Rather was doing the --well, why can't we find Osama-- tonite. Sour grapes.

I don't know about Cohen's rep, but only Lynne Stewart -- the dowdy attorney for the Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman, the "blind cleric" who orchestrated the first World Trade Center attack in 1993 -- has been charged with actually aiding a convicted terrorist send messages to his charges in the Middle East.

If Rather was smart, he'd be wondering why more and more viewers can't find him.

Cohen's "rep" includes stating that he would represent Osama Bin Laden.

On the other hand:

“Yes, I would defend [Hitler],” Dershowitz answered, saying the alternatives would be worse: Hitler would either go free because nobody would defend him, or go to trial without a lawyer.

Actually, I agree with Dershowitz, if only because requiring the government to produce proof of guilt against a vigorous defense produces, well, better proof.
