Vanity: CHECK THIS OUT! Iraqi Communist Party website links directly to Free Republic thread!

Scroll down (for me the slider comes up on the left) until you see the bit in English that says:
"Iraq's Communist Party says it wants U.S. troops out soon, plans political comeback"
Click on it.
Holy crap, huh?

I apologize for the bad language in that post. I just can't imagine anything I've read in the last two years (and that's saying something) that has made my jaw drop like finding this did. I was stunned, I thought maybe my browser was capturing an old page stored on my computer or something, until I realized I'd never read that thread before!

Kattracks has had an awesome posting record from what I've seen. I think it makes it clear how valuable Kattracks is to us :) My guess is that the reason it was linked to us was because FR was the only website educated and informative enough to have this posted ;)
The Iraqi CP is a VERY strange bird. A lot of the pro-democracy rallies recently were partly organized by the Iraqi Communist Party. This really has a serious Rod Serling feel to the whole thing. If I didn't know anything else about Communism I'd like these guys!

Very interesting. Make me wonder about all those who dismissed the possibility of any possible harm from coming to GW during his Thanksgiving visit there when a FReeper made that post that could have been used to guess where he was while he was still in the area. Information flies fast these days.

My jaw dropped too! LOL!
And then I used the occasion to drop a bit of propaganda on that thread. :o)

Okay. I take back what I said about "liking these guys". That was based on what I'd seen so far. Just checked out a few of the other links on that site, including the "interview", and no, I don't particularly like these guys at all.

Thanks for pinging Jim, I should have thought of that. I'm still in shock, and still digging through that site.

Piss on the communists. I mean, PLEASE.
To: sweetliberty
so....what is the big deal?
To: stuck_in_new_orleans
Just weird, that's all, that they would have a link to our site. I suppose they have those translator thingies that put it in their language. Hard to imagine FR in Arabic.

By the way, they seem to be located in England, too. "44" is the international telephone dialing code for England. I'm not familiar with this city code, so I can't say it's London.

possible harm from coming to GW during his Thanksgiving visit there when a FReeper made that postBe ever-vigilent, moderators. You might save the life of the President some day.
Some people, meaning well, might put the life of him or others in jeopardy.
Better yet, make me a mod.
Heck, I'll remove my own posts when I cross the line. :o)
