SADDAM Hussein was no longer in Iraq, the US television network CBS reported today, citing unidentified military sources.
A CBS News correspondent in Saddam's northern Iraq hometown of Tikrit, near where Saddam was captured yesterday, said he had learned from military sources that the former Iraqi president was no longer in the country.
US Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez, the top US military commander in Iraq, said in Baghdad that Saddam "is currently under coalition custody and at an undisclosed location".

I wonder if we could get Colonel West to head the interrogation ????Good idea. One of the Talking Heads on FOX said they get a lot of the Baathists to sing when they are told the Jordanians or other ME types are going to "interview" them.
The Kurds or Shites appear to be a good choice for interrogators.

There is the possibility that the American voter will move on to the next fetish. After all, in November 2004, the economy will have been roaring for a year, the War On Terror will have been well-launched and in "maintenance mode." Perception: Bush not needed; get someone with more of an angle on a new agenda.
But I think the truth is that Bush is good at being Commander-In-Chief. World events call for his leadership. W will win.

Saddam will not know where he is. Same thing with KSM and Zubayda, they don't know where they are.
Let the injections begin!

"But now that he is captured, folks will step forward."

Excellent point. I agree --- now that people can be confident that Saddam is not coming back to punish them, will feel more secure in coming forward and telling us all about the WMD.

Gitmo I doubt it. He is most probably in a US Navy ship somewhere, being milked for info. on WMD, the complexity of the french and the germans and the russians, what numbered account he has in some Swish banks,...

Aircraft carrier?
if he has to go tinkle, make him go over the side of the carrier, then push him off the edge as he is just about to finish! Just a thought....
