CNN'reporter LIVE from Baghdad is on now (in body armor)reporting that:
"Ordinary Iraqis don't have enough electricity, gas lines are long, they cannot understand why America can't solve these pressing problems. Saddam being captured changes nothing."
Tokyo Rose had nothing on these people.

And in other news, Tom Dasshole is deeply saddened...
What did you expect from the Crescent News Network? CNN is worse than Al Jazeera.

It's really incredible, and I expect to see this line repeated on the Sunday Talk shows by the RATS:
"Tim, the people of Iraq don't have health care, they don't have prescription drug benefits, how can GW Bush think capturing Saddam changes anything?"

Does not matter. How CNN spins how the Iraqis feel makes no difference to Americans. Americans wanted this guy's butt on a platter and now they have it whether the Iraqis care or not.
Iraqis do not vote in November so CNN is just playing with itself.

As kerry might say... "F' em". Over at the cesspool that is DU there is much wringing of hands and gnashing of teeth.
Interspersed among the wailing are a few post hoping(!!!???) that the attacks ramp up in severity and frequency.
They really do make me sick. Team Exxon, they say....
I say "Way to Go, America's Army! U...S...A...! U...S...A....

I need a Saddam captured poster gif!!!

The left will demand that he be turned over to the U.N.(who haven't lifted a finger to help except to complain that security stinks!), so they can try him in Belgium. We ought to let the Iraqui's administer justice.

"Saddam being captured changes nothing." Reading between the lines I can see that if CNN were not depressed and angered by this news they would have no need to make this preposterous statement.
To: woofer
I sure heard a lot of celebratory gunfire from Iraqis who don't care that Saddam is captured. Hmmmmm...........

THe anchor on MSNBC asked Tom Aspel if this meant that the Iraqis, who were "already anxious for the US to leave", would renew their calls for a withdrawl of the troops.
Pathetic.

I have the unfortunate fate of having CNN Int'l as my only live news source...when I saw the headline I'd hoped there would be some genuine live coverage of Sadam's capture. Um, no. I could only take 30 seconds of the tripe-filled spewage of "So now the question is, WHY did it take the U.S. so LONG to capture Sadam?" It's actually kind of fun to watch, if I'm in the right mood, seeing them seethe shows just how well we're doing. I miss live FOX news.

Iraqis are going ape nuts here - they are ecstatic over the news.Ironpuppy, do you think CNN is racing around the city trying to not find celebrating crowds to back up thier misguided, anti US propaganda?
Think of the wasted fuel.

Dan Blather and some other idiot on SeeBS is reviewing Saddams life like it was a Hallmark movie....sickening....
At one point, Blather was reminiscing about how macho Saddam was/is.....maybe he should ask Jacques ChIraq...
