Ant this didn't break in Los Angeles (also PST) until about 7:30 AM PST.
For documentary purposes, I got it on KFI 640AM at about 7:25 AM, it broke
on KABC 780AM maybe five minutes later.

Doug McIntyre of KABC took calls after announcing the news. At least Los Angeles/Hollywood
lefties have the faith of their convictions...one caller was already sourly
saying this wouldn't help end the terrorist attacks in Iraq, blah, blah, blah...

But a few of the callers were ecstatic, one was "down" a bit, asking why our troops
didn't just shoot Saddam in order to get rid of the stinker.

One of my biggest belly-laughs?
An ABC radio news reporter said that at his capture, Saddam "...looked like Ted Kaczynski...".

The downside? That some Canadian Mounties/Trooper weren't at the side of the
US (and/or Coalition) troops that DUG Saddam out of his rabbit-hole WITH SHOVELS.

The upside? Just thinking about Vichy France, Germany, the UN, Tom Daschle,
American-troop-morale-deflator Hillary! Rodham Clinton, Howard "Abort-Em-All"
Dean and all the other deeply saddened supports of Saddam.
Cheer up you @$$holes, at least you'll get to visit your friend Saddam in jail,
at least until he meets Texas Justice at the end of a rope!
(OK, he'll get Iraqi Justice...I don't know if they may just put him in a cage
in the middle of a public square in BAghdad or Basra for life.)

The big brother in a small hole

It's the justice day.
I'm speechless.
I'm crying.
The tyrants' hour has finally came. I went down to the streets to share the joy with my brothers. This is our day, the day of all the oppressed and good people on earth.
Tears of joy filled the eyes of all the people.
Saddam, the coward, hides in a hole, shaking in fear from being captured.
Not a single bullet was fired, without any resistance, God, he was even cooperative! The mighty tyrant, who exploited all our country's fortune for his personal protection, surrenders like the cowered I expected him to be.
Yes, he should be prosecuted in Iraq. We will not allow anything else.
We want to see him in a cage bending more and more, humiliated more and more, just as he forced all the Iraqis to bend to him, like they were his slaves. But we will not be like him, we will give him a fair trail, and he will get just what he deserves, although I have no idea what does he really deserve.
It's indeed an inauspicious day for all the tyrants. Let them know that their days are near too.
This is the day of all Iraqi martyrs who were slaughtered just to please his sick lust for blood.
Rest in peace my brothers. The paradise is yours and the disgrace and hell is for all the tyrants on earth.
