(IsraelNN.com) On election night, December 7, rocks were thrown through two windows of Bryansk's Jewish school, and its main entrance was daubed with a swastika and the words "Death to the kikes," according to a December 9 report by the AEN (Agency for Jewish News). Five youths were arrested soon afterwards thanks to a security guard who called the police after hearing the glass shatter.
The city's chief rabbi, Itskhak Roytman, suggested to AEN that the attack was linked to the Duma elections: "The results of the just completed elections are a worrisome sign of a rise in nationalistic sentiment within society. In my view, this doesn't just threaten Jews, but the very future of Russia." This is the second such attack on the school in three months; when it opened earlier this year, such attacks were even more frequent. ("Bigotry Monitor -- UCSJ's weekly newsletter")
Now tells that to 50% of Jews who vote nationalist. Skin heads always around and always minority. They no more liked by average peoples then communists. Issue is, vote for oligarchs and be poor...and direct result is more pissed young poor peoples. Putin reverse economy and more richer peoples, this mean fewer pissed off young who now busy working not drinking.
Followup...
This was in 2003. By mid 2024 Russia’s Putin would be deploying North Korean troops in this same area near the border with Ukraine.
North Koreans. Who, in 2003, would have thought Putin would be importing Nork mercenaries in 21 years since that election? I notice that some of the old Russian trolls on this thread have been zotted a while back so they cannot tell us how wonderful it is to have Norks forced to do their fighting for them... but at least some of the Norks have the sense to defect.
