TIKRIT, Iraq – In an early morning raid in Tikrit on Dec. 11, 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment soldiers captured four Fedayeen members and confiscated a significant amount of weapons and ammunition that were hidden throughout the house including under the mattresses of sleeping children and buried in the garden.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

An army friend tells me his guess is that 1000 Iraqi resistance fighters are killed each month... He says his own convoy was attacked by over 2 dozen Iraqis... No US killed or wounded... They didn't hang around to count the dead Iraqis, but there were certainly none in a fighting mood. Does this ring true to others?
