PRINCETON, New Jersey (CNN) --Consumer advocate Ralph Nader said Thursday he is leaning toward another independent run for the presidency and will make his decision public in January.

"We're testing the waters," Nader said in an interview with CNN. "It's a high probability but that is yet to be determined."

Nader has formed an exploratory committee for a 2004 run and said he would gauge his support through the success of fund-raising efforts and the number of volunteers who come forward.

Ahhh... This would be a very nice repeat of the Perot nonsense in elections past, except this time working FOR us rather than against.

Ralph, liberals need you. Those Democrats are dangerously moderate and selling out to the right wingers.

If Dean is the nominee, Nader won't get anywhere.

If one of the other Dims is the nominee, Nader will run again and likely cost them key states like in 2000.

Even if Dean is the nominee, he could still steal a few thousand votes in a few key states.

However, if Dean is the nominee, I don't think it will matter. He'll win 10 states if he's lucky.

>> Should we start a letter writing campaign to Ralphie??? "Only a Nanny-state can protect us" or some other drivel to help compel him to help defeat a Rat dwarf... <<

Oh, yes. Either Ralphie or Cynthia McKinney would make a great nominee for the Watermellon party. Maybe they could run as a team! Excellent potential to suck votes away from the RATs. Also have to get the Watermellons to run for lower offices so any liberal activists who show up won't increase the RAT totals down the ticket.

When writting letters to our friends in the Green Party, be sure to remind them that no matter HOW far left the Democrats run, they are still controlled by "the corporations" (and Terry Awful) and therefore warrent a third party slapping.

Bwahahahahaha....

I agree, he should run. Keep the RATs as divided as possible, and do to them what their operative Ross Perot did to the GOP in 1992.
