Are you going to join him ? Join him? To what? Your hip? If you two are siamese twins, I'm pretty sure that you're the left sided one.
To: Maelstrom
no doubt, but off topic.
Reagan switched parties due to disaffection with the way his former party was trending.
Was Reagan a traitor acc. to those here on this thread who have so glibly accused their fellow FReepers of so being for harboring an identical disaffection?

And the GOP is leaving conservatives for leftier fields.Would that make them traitors, considering af_vet_1981 thinks that conservatives that leave the GOP are traitors.

Would that make them traitors, considering af_vet_1981 thinks that conservatives that leave the GOP are traitors. You are lying. I don't think you are a conservative. I think you are masquerading as conservatives to influence the 2004 election so the party of Traitors (Democrats) can win. Protagoras has already admitted he is not a political conservative. Your agenda and trolling are obvious to genuine conservatives. Eight long years of HillarySpeak have innoculated us to your rhetoric.

"Also, Clinton was reelected and there was nobody to "take votes" away from the Republicans."
Ummm, no. Clinton only got 49% of the vote in 1996, and Perot got 8.4% (ALL from conservatives---the Democrats who voted for Perot in 1992 "came home" to Clinton in 1996). Had every Perot vote from 1996 been cast for Bob Dole, Dole would have won with exactly 270 electoral votes.

Your agenda and trolling are obvious to genuine conservatives. What are the principles or stances that identify "genuine conservatives"?

Reagan was far too conservative to be considered a candidate today by the likes of the current crapheads in the RNC Actually Reagan did something in his first term that Bush didn't, he raised taxes in 1982.

You are just as much a psych as Dane. You spout BS and then when facts that counter the BS you spout are brought out, you resort to more BS name calling. Get a life.

I did not say that you were calling names, just that you were psychic. How else can you tell how a person voted back in '92 & '96.

"I am called looscnnn for a reason, no one tells me how to think, vote or anything else." - Now thats a quote I can identify with.
Isn't loosecannon analogous to 'Independant Conservative'?
I used to be a loose cannon too but I got married, had 3 kids and grew up. (Not that there's anything wrong with being a loose cannon it was just easier to be that way when I was single LOL!)
