Osama bin Laden's terrorist network al-Qaida is planning "a great event that will shake the region" to coincide with the Muslim festival Eid Al-Adha on Feb. 2, according to a London-based Arabic daily.

Al-Quds Al-Arabi reported an information coordinator for a group associated with al-Qaida, the Sahab Institute, said a new videotape of bin Laden will be circulated shortly before the holiday, said the Washington, D.C.-based Middle East Media Institute, or MEMRI.

The coordinator, identified by the nickname "Abi Osama," or Osama's father, was asked in an interview with the Internet site Al-Anbaa if he was in possession of a pre-taped videotape of bin Laden, but stated only: "When the event occurs it will be broadcast by al-Jazeera television."

An agreement with al-Jazeera requires the network to broadcast any videotape the Sahab Institute provides about al-Qaida, the coordinator said.

The Institute would sever its relationship with al-Jazeera if it refused to broadcast a videotape, he added.

"We duplicate and edit the videotapes of the organization in special ways, and then send them to news channels, including al-Jazeera, in response to orders issued to us," the coordinator said.

Eid al-Adha, one of the two major Muslim holidays, takes place during the final month of the Islamic calendar when millions of Muslims from around the world make an annual pilgrimage to Mecca.

Joseph Farah's G2 Bulletin reported this week al-Qaida plotted to detonate a dirty nuke bomb floated into London on one of its armada of mystery ships, but the plan was foiled by security forces, according to an official.

As WorldNetDaily reported, al-Qaida terrorists have developed a crude device designed to spread deadly cyanide gas through the ventilation systems of crowded indoor facilities such as subways, according to a closely held security directive issued to law enforcement by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and obtained exclusively by WND.

In fact, we are planning a big operation for every day between now and then, and every day after that.

It's called Operation Jihadi Kiss Your Ass Goodbye.

I don't know why we don't bomb Al-Jazeera to prevent them from airing these tapes. These tapes could endanger Americans. Why do we let them air this garbage.

Bringing down the Twin Towers was pretty major. How can they think they can possibly go beyond that? The only thing in my mind that is worse, is the release of a Chemical or Biological weapon being released in a major city blowing across the horizon. I sure am glad that the FBI and the CIA can share information with each other now.
