I am sick of Bush too. The question is, where do we put our votes next election? There must be quite a few of us that aren't Bushbots and see that Bush and the Republicans are no longer for the Constitution and smaller Government. If we can get behind another group, we can get them noticed next year. The media will take notice (believing that, by doing so, it will hurt the Republicans); the average american will take notice, and the tide will start to turn when people realize that there is a REAL conservative group out there to vote for. I wish the Bushbots would realize that Bush DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE HERE. He believes that he can win without the real conservatives. Like clinton, he believes that enough people in the middle will vote for him that it will not matter what we do. If we don't stop voting for this two headed monster that is the Republican/Democrat party, than this country is truly lost.

Head largely composed of bone versus full of hot air? You're not going to convince anyone except those who already threaten to pull their vote from Bush everytime they disagree with his policies so when are you leaving?

How many times has Bush lost your vote?

During the CFR vote, and his signing, I was very much inclined not to vote for him. I hadn't decided 100%.

His performance was better for a while, and he began to woo me back.

Then when he stood behind outsourcers, my vote was once again in great jeopardy. However, he responded to my concerns by lowering the dollar slowly, making America more competitive. He won me back over.

This is the first time I have made a hard decision not to vote for him. The only way he might be able to salvage me (and probably millions like me) is to either specifically address the issues I have with CFR, or, specifically go out of his way to squelch the AWB.

Otherwise, I won't be voting for him or any other presidential candidate. If I have to, I'll even turn in a blank ballot. I want them to know I took the time to vote, but I rejected all the options.

The only illegal immigrant amnesty in American history, so far, was promoted and signed into law by none other than President Ronald Reagan. That law, which also weakened prior immigration law (and, to some extent, made 9/11 possible) was a travesty. It was among President Reagan's worst mistakes, in my opinion. Does that mean I think any less of his OVERALL record as president? Heck no! Does it mean that, if by some miracle I had a chance to vote for him again, I wouldn't? Double heck no!!!

There are going to be positives and negatives in ANY administration. What too many folks on the Right side of the political spectrum fail to do is balance the positives vs. negatives. The positive side of the ledger for President Reagan way overwhelms the negative. Such is also the case for President George W. Bush. Reagan was the last great president of the 20th Century. Dubya is the first great president of the 21st. Without doubt and despite their flaws.

A kid like me? THANK YOU. I'll bet I'm only slightly younger than you, but I know I'm one hell of a lot wiser.

so when are you leaving?

Never.

It irritates you that I stay, and to me, that is reward enough.

Sorry. Ain't joining the CP. I'm still a Republican and if I go 3rd party for president, it's libertarian.

Actually, Bush has mostly been nominating liberals and RINO's. IF you look at each list of nominees, there will be a few flaming liberals, a large group of "moderates" who are not conservative, and only one or two token conservatives. The liberals all quickly get confirmed allowing the democrats to say they are allowing most of Bush's nominees through. The token conservative of each batch gets borked and the net result is an increasingly activist and liberal federal judiciary - all thanks to "conservative" George W. Bush.

Bush never publicly goes to bat for his nominees. He doesn't veto pork bills of opponents (He has never vetoed a single bill yet - earning our disgust and contempt) to use as bargaining chips. He doesn't make recess appointments.

Let's Freep Bush every chance. To Bush I'd like to say "I know Freepers, I am friends with Freepers and you, Sir, are no Freeper!"

I proudly state here that I knew Bush was a wolf in sheep's clothing the first time he showed up on the scene as an unknown with 70 million dollars from one-worlders and his insulting slogan of "compassionate conservatism" which was an insult to conservatives everywhere. Bush is a liberal and always was a liberal.

You know, I know it's fun to pile on the guy who points out the Emperor has no clothes, but won't you at least admit that things are pretty damned bad and getting worse at breakneck speeds?

No.

This possibility has merit. I will think it over.

Trouble is, Teddy Kennedy and John Kerry no longer take my phone calls.

Ouch! With Feinstein concurring that there are no Patriot Act abuses to speak of, and having bounced out a failure of a Demo governor, California has passed Massachusetts (ground zero for gay marriage) in the sanity department.

It is a higher purpose that I annoy you.

Sometimes, a higher purpose intercedes in your original principles. You know, like how the SCOTUS found that abrogating the First Amendment was okay because of the higher purpose they found.

He (BUSH) also said he would not sign CFR. He lies.

Really, when? Source and link?

I do not recall POTUS saying that. Perhaps some I have pinged will.

Alberto Gonzalez is his man, and Alberto Gonzalez is a liberal.

You don't know what you're talking about.
