You're a vegetarian. The hunters are going to eat the bear meat and probably make nice rugs from the hides. The reduced population of bears will leave more food for the remaining population. It is necessary to reduce the size of predator populations so they don't decimate the populations of their prey. Likewise, it is necessary to limit populations of deer so they don't eat all the food and leave starving masses of deer. Animal population management leaves a healthier ecosystem and the costs are borne by the hunters who pay fees to hunt and retrieve the animals.
The greenies forced introduction of Canadian wolves back into Idaho. The wolf packs are protected against hunting. The wolves have wiped out most of the deer, antelope, elk and moose in Idaho. They are also killing large numbers of domestic cattle and sheep. There is little left to manage or hunt in Idaho now.
