Kinky axe killer is freed
A FORMER escort girl who hacked her lover to death with an axe was freed from jail yesterday after serving less than half her sentence.
Janet Charlton, 38, ended up doing just 21 months for victim Danny OBriens manslaughter.
And as she was released early on parole, the blonde mother of one said: Im looking forward to Christmas and the rest of my life.
Charlton had butchered millionaire OBrien with an axe after a kinky sex session as he lay naked, handcuffed and gagged hitting him 20 times over the head and shoulders.
She left the axe embedded in his head with her suspender belt draped over the handle at his mansion near Wakefield, West Yorks.
During her trial, Leeds Crown Court learned that the sordid pair liked to have sex in public places and that OBrien watched as she romped with ten men.
Charlton was cleared of murder after claiming she was provoked when OBrien threatened to kill her and abuse her daughter.
She was jailed for five years in May last year for manslaughter but her sentence was reduced to 42 months last February after she appealed.
At the time, OBriens mum Elizabeth, 73, of Bolton said: I am utterly appalled, disgusted and devastated that her sentence has been cut.
Yesterday Charlton was picked up outside Yorks Askham Grange Prison by her dad.
Speaking later at her parents home in Middleton, Greater Manchester, Charlton said: I am so glad to be out.
I am feeling really well and I am pleased to be back with my family.
I just want to relax and have a quiet day.
She refused to say if she would be able to see her daughter, Amy, six, who is thought be with her dad Tony, 35 Charltons ex-husband.
Charltons dad, Herbert Kenny, 61, said: Were delighted that she is home where she belongs. Were all really looking forward to Christmas.

Manslaughter, huh? Wonder what she would have served if it had been a planned attack on a helpless victim?
Um, you mean that's not allowed? I mean, no one ever said that I shouldn't do that, because if someone had actually told me that was inappropriate behaviour, I most certainly wouldn't have done it - I, I just didn't know. OK, now I know, so I'll NEVER do that again......
.....Um, wanna' go out?

I hope there was a witness or two to confirm her claims, since this is exactly what she would say to justify this outrageous attack.

Wow, I always thought that a "manslaughter" charge could only stick if you could prove that the killing wasn't premediated or the killer was physically provoked etc. I suppose if you're a woman who used to belong to a "stigmatised social group" (former prostitute), then liberals will give you the benefit of the doubt if you kill a kinky, middle aged, millionaire white guy, as long as you don't use one of those evil guns!
This story is hitting quite close to home. I was in Wakefield last Saturday and I'm going to be visiting someone in Middleton next week. Hope I don't run into this psychotic bitch!
lol.......Just stay away from chains and handcuffs and you should be fine. But you may need one of those "American football" helmets, just to be on the safe side.
Here in the States we have the same crap -- liberal judges giving hardcore crimminals minimal time in the slam.
