"I can't stand that woman as much as I can't stand Martha Stewart -blech"

You have captured my feelings, exactly.

She tries to be too 'breathy' when she talks...sounds like she uses an entire scuba tank full of air just to get a couple sentences out.

You got to admit, gwhore learned to dump his friends as soon as they no longer served his needs, from x42 and hitlery.

I happened to catch a bit of GMA this morning. Charlie was congratulating Diane and her husband Mike Nichols for his "Kennedy Center Honors" award. The show took place on Sunday, including a White House ceremony/party for the presentation of the medal.

I guess she nailed the award then and there.

Didn't Barbara Walters do the Christmas interview last year?

Why is this in the breaking news section?

No idea. Not my thread.

Prior to joining CBS News, Sawyer held several positions in the Nixon administration. She was part of the Nixon-Ford transition team from 1974 to 1975. She also assisted former President Nixon in the writing of his memoirs in 1974 and 1975.

Could be true. I'll have to dig out the Ann Coulter book tonight for a memory check. (I know I'm not supposed to mention Ms. Coulter unless I have pictures to post, but I running late for a meeting.)

Ms Sawyer had BETTER be a courteous guest

Sawyer is rational and doesn't play those annoying Couric interview games. Should be good.

Larry King interviewed Laura last night at the White House. Guess that puts Diane in second place.

This is smart politics. It's the presidential season and the Christmas season. Savvy move.

But the Liberals will complain.

First, Bush exploited the war for politics, and now he's exploiting the Winter Solstice.

One of my favorite TV news moments was during the 2000 election when a stunned and shocked Dan Rather quickly cut to DS following the "Florida goes to Bush instead of Gore" announcement/retraction. She wasn't ready and was face down on her desk with head buried in her arms shaking it back and forth in an absolutely dejected expression of journalistic objectivity. hee hee.

I hope they replay it this weekend. Larry usually takes the best of the week's interviews and this had to be at #1.

Time and age are not being kind to Katie Couric's face.

Sawyer is getting close to Couric in the ratings war and the WH is counting on Sawyer to make nice. Her morning Show is one of the few valuable assets in the Disney portfolio. I have hear rumor that Disnesy has laid off its whole animation staff, 1220 of them just before Christmas.

Dec 18, primetime, ABC, to discuss a broad range of policy and political topics, from the state of the economy and the war in Iraq to homeland security, environmental issues and the president's 2004 bid for re-election.

Really! The stupid media (even the good ones as well) are all reporting algore as news! How embarassing. I don't care what algore says, does, thinks, etc. I also don't care what dean says, does, thinks, etc. But at least dean is in the run for president, unlike algore who is a has-been.
