Rock wildman Ozzy Osbourne was on a ventilator in intensive care yesterday after undergoing emergency surgery following a quad bike accident in Britain.
Osbourne, who was injured at his Buckinghamshire estate on Monday while taking time out from a promotional tour, was continuing to receive treatment at the Wexham Park Hospital in Slough.
On Monday night, hospital staff treated a cracked vertebra in his neck, eight broken ribs, a broken collarbone and a damaged blood vessel.
Circulation in his left arm has now been restored after the damage to the blood vessel caused by pressure from his broken collarbone.

The hospital's medical director, Dr Dick Jack, said: "He's still on a ventilator in the intensive care unit. He was seen on the ward round this morning [Tuesday] and he is fine."

Wish him a speedy recovery, but for my part I can't help but see this individual as a symbol of the depths to which the human race has plummeted over the past fifty years. My first reaction when I heard he was in the hospital was "What...did he slip and fall on his own drool?" I guess I should feel bad about that comment, but given their history, I just can't.

After repeated attempts to reach Ozzy for comment, he issued the following statement through his publicist: "The g***dam ATV I was riding lost F'*ing control and the next thing I know was F'*ing flipping in the air...Was it Ozzy who said this, or was it John F***in' Kerry?

He could at least use "Richard", unless he really is a "Dick".

I meant that I would change my LAST name.
"Will Jack" isn't much better than "Dick Jack".
Can't got by Peter, either.

I do wish him a full and speedy recover. But from what I heard he was asked if he neede drugs for the pain, he said, "No thanks I brought my own."

So, do you want to be called "Dr. Dick" or "Dr. Dick Jack"?
Neither, thank you.

Prayers for Ozzy. It's hard not to like this degenerate goofball.

I went to school with a guy named Peter Seaman. To make it worse, his middle name was "White".

Didja ever wonder why Peter Fonda didn't get drafted
for Vietnam? It has to do with the military custom of
using last name first, first name last.

Ha ha.
"Fonda" means "inn" in Spanish, you know.

I would not say he is nuts, burned out is probably the better term. All the drugs and alcohol that he did has seriously killed alot of brain cells.
