INTREP - This is amazing - civilians allowed to travel to a combat zone, to gauge the course of the war and deliver a message of peace to the Iraqis? Can you spell "lend aid and comfort to the enemy?" If my parents or spouse showed up, I would be mortified.

Well, this is how we sort the men/women from the boys/little girls! When their mommies show up to protect them, or their surrogate mommies (wives), you know they are a liability anyway. My son's half-sister was over there in Kuwait when it began, and all she did was whine and put down our President. Because of it, we didn't show any support to her, and all the pictures and letters my grandchildren drew and wrote went to REAL PATRIOTIC AMERICANS, of which Thank God, there are many more than the whiners!

Right you are!
I don't know why Medusa Benjamin and comrades are not arrested in Iraq and the military family members told to go home. Or at least block them from coming into the country.

(Fight terrorists in Iraq & elsewhere, instead of waiting for them to come to America!)

"This is amazing - civilians allowed to travel to a combat zone, to gauge the course of the war and deliver a message of peace to the Iraqis?" I really don't get it how they can get transportation. To my knowledge the only way you can get in and out, let alone travel around, is military transportation. Why would our military transport these people?
