No Dean/Gore. Al couldn't possibly go back to the VP. Gore wants to partner with Dean for the takeover of the DNC, jettisoning the Clintons.
After Dean crashes and burns in 2004, if he somehow gets Hillary out of the way, it will be Gore in 2008.
